Bart's Car Store - Avon

After researching trucks for several months, my husband and I decided to purchase a used truck from this store. We live a couple hours away so we contacted the store before making the drive to ensure the p and I decided to purchase a used truck from this store. The salesman assured us it had been checked thoroughly by their mechanic and was in great condition. He said the head gasket was good, as this was a particular concern for us. We purchased the truck for 19 K. Less than two weeks later we took the truck into the local dealer due to some leaking fluid and found it had a blown head gasket. The mechanic said it had been blown for a awhile. We contacted Bart's and they refused to help with the repair which will cost us an additional $5000. We were lied to and given terrible customer service. This was the worst experience we have ever had purchasing a vehicle. I would not recommend Bart's to anyone. More

I was in need of a new car and had been to 4 or 5 lots in a week. I could never find that car I was looking for. I stopped at Barts Car Store in Avon and Ryan was the one that helped me. These guys tried to rip me off for 10 grand. Price online was $10,00 less than sticker on car at the lot. They were pretending to have a sale and sent liquidation deals out through the mail giving the purc was $10,00 less than sticker on car at the lot. They were pretending to have a sale and sent liquidation deals out through the mail giving the purchaser $2000 off the top of the sticker price. However, when I pointed out the online price they seemed surprised and immediately rescinded the liquidation deal for me. What disturbs me also is that they had sent their flyers to mainly (maybe only) elderly or retired people and even had the nerve to ask me if I was retired. They were only concerned with wanting me to finance the car through them. When they found out I would pay cash for any purchase their interest in a deal with me significantly diminished. I was asked 6 times if I was sure I didn't want to finance. Stay away from theses guys they are rip off artists. More

Worse purchase of a vehicle in my 20 years at the Avon branch. Very nice in person, but never trust anything they say. Recently purchased a vehicle that needed the air compressor replaced.
