From the beginning of my purchase I pointed out several issues and I was promised same day fix as well as emissions completed that day. Waiting about 5 hours for an approval response. Travel to different l issues and I was promised same day fix as well as emissions completed that day. Waiting about 5 hours for an approval response. Travel to different location where they handle finance and waited there for an hour an half. The originally price that I was given was not correct and the issues that were guaranteed and promised were not taken care of. Instead I was rushed because they were closing and was given a written letter to bring my vehicle and I would be given a loaner. I bought the vehicle in April and still to this date there has been no fixes due to no mechanic on Saturday or loaner available. I also was contacted that my registration was on hold because my emissions have not been done. It’s going into a month and half and no plates and no loaner of vehicle as promised on the letter so it could be fixed. All they give you are run arounds stories.I’m More
If you’re reading these reviews, please don’t be like me and ignore them or hope it will be different for you. The reviews are poor for a reason. They appear to have good deals, they in fact are nothing special. After they add on and average of $3-$5000 dollars plus all the other stuff they charge, you’ll find out you could have go somewhere really nice and friendly and paid the same. They are friendly in person, and sometimes on the phone, but when you leave you’ll feel pretty bad or angry about the whole experience. Speaking of the phone, they aren’t gonna call you back just fyi. I left that dealership the first time having to walk through their service area looking for screws so I could mount my own license plates. Everyone had left, including the owner who told me he couldn’t wait to give the dealership away to his kids. It was so unprofessional but I was in too deep at that point. Now I can look back fondly with lots of regret. Someone once told me when you buy a nicer car you buy the dealership as well, you do not want this to be your dealership. Yes, they replaced a warrantied part for me but did so with a very used part that didn’t match the standard of the car. They could do nothing but say, “go buy one at a dealership.” I can’t tell you what to do, but I would say please, please, please do yourself a favor and seek out one of the many other places to buy a car. Find people you like and give them the business, I should have. More
I can't think of a worse place to buy a car! I thought the old "used car" dealership was outdated and no longer existed! Oh was I wrong. I called this dealership and spoke to an eager sales person named Sean. We set a date and time to drive a particular car I was very interested in. A few days later I even confirmed the appointment. When I arrived at the dealer at 10AM (the appointed time), Sean seemed surprised to see me, and even worse, the car was jammed into the showroom and not ready to be driven. Since I really liked the car, I agreed to come back at 5PM to drive it. Got there at 5:05PM and the car was even further buried on the showroom floor. Sean told me I could not drive the car unless I know the numbers. I said, is it not being sold for the advertised price? No, it was not! They had 4+ "other" bogus fees adding up to over $4,000!!! STAY AWAY from Baron Auto Emporium, they are not ethical. More

YOU ALL NEED TO READ THIS! ! Salesman was great! The finance guy was sleazy and dishonest. I went with my son to see a 26K vehicle that had several other hidden fees added actu ! Salesman was great! The finance guy was sleazy and dishonest. I went with my son to see a 26K vehicle that had several other hidden fees added actually making it 34K including all taxes (2,450) and fees (4,800) including a dealer fee of $2,400 and delivery fee of $1,495. After a long ordeal and negotiation including me agreeing to finance the vehicle through them (or pay an additional 7K cash convenience fee) we finally made a deal for a car. I was not happy about having to finance as much as they required but agreed and we came to terms ending with them taking a $2,000 deposit. After the deposit they said there was an additional $500 fee they did not add. I was annoyed but after 15 minutes or so of excuses as to why it was necessary I let it go and asked if there were ANY other fees not included. I was told there was nothing more. I pressed and said I did not want to be surprised, again I was told there would be nothing else. I got the needed insurance in place and sent over the documentation and insurance cards with Bank of America listed as the financial institution. We returned 4 days later to pick the vehicle up I waited over 2 hours being told I was next. The salesman kept coming in and apologizing saying they would be with us as soon as possible. The finance guy (Derek) finally called for us. Sitting in his chair squirming I could see he was having a hard time because his numbers were not adding up. He quoted the finance rate as 3.5% higher than the actual bank rate. I know this because I bank with Bank of America and spoke with them hours before heading to the dealership. I let Derek dig his hole and jump in. I was then told on top of all the added fees from last time the bank was requiring them to charge me an additional $995 to process the loan. I asked for clarification of what the fee was exactly and was told no less than 10 more times it was a bank fee and they had no idea about it or even what it would be before that very moment when the bank told them what it must be. I asked Derek at least a dozen times and even said please just be honest with me because I cannot see the bank doing this. He doubled down and swore it was a banking fee again and stood his ground. I told him I did not believe him and then also let him know the finance rate was not accurate for Bank of America. He laughed and said I did not know what I was talking about. I picked up my phone and let him know I spoke with the bank earlier and would call to confirm his claims. As I started dialing he said they would never tell me about the fees and that it was customary and standard in all vehicle financing. I told him that a Bank of America branch manager was related to me (through marriage) and I would get the truth. I gave Derek 1 last chance and said please just be honest with me and maybe we could split the new extra fee they now wanted to add for no reason except to line their own pocket, Derek came up with a new lie and now stating it was a fee in case I paid the car off early and they needed to cover themselves. After another round of lies strung together with one contradicting the other I was done and said we would not be purchasing the car and that I wanted my deposit back. Derek was surprised as we gave the $2,000 and spent money insuring the car. After all of this and over 3 hours at the dealership he finally said that they made it up and they were charging me the extra fee so they could make more money on the deal. I told him exactly what I thought of him as a man and representative of the dealership and collected my deposit and left. More

No response to online offer, constant Followup, but don’t seem to understand I am out of state I can’t stop by for a test drive. Dealer also had more than 10% of the price of the vehicle in hidden dealer fee seem to understand I am out of state I can’t stop by for a test drive. Dealer also had more than 10% of the price of the vehicle in hidden dealer fees and poor advertising methods. It does not make sense to arbitrarily advertise a price after deducting a customers down payment. Additionally, dealer requires you to use their finance company , at rates that are much higher than you can get from other lenders, so that they receive a kick back from the lender. These practices are why there is a running joke calling auto dealers “stealer-ships” More
