Fred-We went to the dealership today to seriously consider going from one Land Rover to another so the snide comment you wrote “No thank you, it’s not a Nissan” was not appreciated. Again, I currently own a Land Rover so I’m well aware the value of having one. Besides, the $2,400. Pre-inspection fee alone is laughable. You want to charge ME to do YOUR inspection and give me the bill. You as a dealer should have your cars up and running ready to purchase not fixing it and giving me the bill at time of purchase. The car display read “brake pads worn” and “battery low”. Clearly, we should have been negotiating these repairs starting at $32,999. not the other way around. You way you treated us today is the epitome of the negative stereotype of a used car salesman. CLASSIC. I read the negative reviews online but went anyway. The price wasn’t the issue; it’s the way you arbitrarily tagged in fees and that was not done in good faith by the way. How could I trust that the car would work as intended when you are starting out deceitful by luring us in with the price $32,999. The CarFax page states on the website that you have reduced it by $7,000. since it’s been there 54 days since late July. You then want to add that to my purchase price? Well, no thank you. In the end, it’s your loss. I’ll end up going to a reputable Land Rover here in my state where they know me and did not treat me they way you did when I got the Land Rover I have today. Leslie, on the other hand, was very professional and pleasant. We appreciated that.
