recently I lost a key fobe. I called Gary Barbara and they told me it would be $110 for the fobe and the programing. I booked an appointment. When I arrived I was told that they did not have the fobe, but they could order it for me at the new cost of $189 (plus $110 to program). I explained to them what was told to me on the phone, and they shrugged their shoulders. I took a day off of work to get this done! I explained that, and they could care less. I usually do not speak to managers, but after the bait-n-switch and the dismissive attitude of the service clerk, I asked. She called me back and was just as dismissive. She told me that she could give me a $25 discount. I explained to her that I has taken a day off, and I was quoted a price of $110 total. Again, she could care less. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP. They have always been accused of the bait-n-switch in the sales department, so I guess you can add the service department too. BEWARE. More
I get my car serviced at Barbera. About a year and a half ago, I received notice about a recall for my car. I called Barbera, and my name was put on a list. I was told that Chrysler is only sending them 2 parts per week, so it could take some time. I called back months later, and it still wasn't my turn. One year later, I was told again that my name hadn't come up yet. I called today, 1.5 years later, to find out my number on the list. I was told today that my name keeps being pushed further down the list because they are prioritizing cars that were purchased from them. This is the first time anyone ever mentioned this. I didn't purchase my car from them, but I am a customer of theirs. I should've been told that I was going to be pushed down the list repeatedly. Had I known that was going to happen, I would've gone to Reedman instead. Needless to say, they've lost my future business. More
Gary barbera is a scam ! Don’t fall for the kindness you get when you go to purchase a vehicle ! First 5 months of having the vehicle the bumper is coming off both sides and the electric system is having issues . They then are the rudest of all kinds when it comes to you having an issue with a new vehicle they just sold to you. I asked to speak to the owner or someone higher up their exact words were “that’s not going to happen” I contacted all news outlets because this is not okay . I work 7 days a week and I’m pregnant ! They literally kept me at the center hours at a time on the days I had an appointment or issue with the vehicle . I had to miss work some days where I could’ve lost my job . No common courtesy or accommodation from no one ! Run run run and take your money else where save yourself the headache and stress go to a REAL DEALERSHIP . More

Beginning with John Pagano in sales including the service department. John is the nicest person to deal with. He made buying our new car almost painless. Shawn Warner ( went out of his way to help me) Claire ( so sweet) Jackie ( the hostess with the mostest) There are others (do not have name). PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE TAKING YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR SERVICE!!! If I could give this dealership no stars I would. It's time to let everyone know what goes on in the service department at Gary Barbera SERVICE!!! If I could give this dealership no stars I would. It's time to let everyone know what goes on in the service department at Gary Barbera's On The Blvd. The staff there are respectful to a certain extent. I've been taking my vehicle here for service since 2021. In the 12 months, I've taken my vehicle here 10 times!!! That's ridiculous! The service writers at the front desk are super cool, but they're under the command of a service manager who doesn't care about the safety of anyone's vehicles or cares about how much money you had to spend on getting your vehicle fixed. And it doesn't get fixed at all, they put a bandage on it because they know your going to have to bring it back and spend more money on something else. I was warned ⚠️ multiple times, from multiple people from different Counties, all around Philadelphia not to come here for service. I didn't listen to what other people were telling me, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. I was terribly wrong. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR SERVICE EVER!!! THE TECHNICIANS AND MECHANICS HERE DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING! THEY WILL F**K YOUR VEHICLE UP, CHARGE YOU THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS, BASICALLY TELL YOU TO GO F**K YOURSELF WHEN THEY MESS YOUR VEHICLE UP!!! Let me share with you what's currently going on with my car, I have Airbag warnings, Stop/Start unavailable warnings, flashing check engine lights, fog light one side of the vehicle not working but was working when service was supposed to be repaired. I can accelerate without my engine stalling, coolant leaks, my entire engine is shaking my car. This service department needs to be shutdown immediately! And placed under new management and staff. I'M GOING TO MAKE THIS PUBLIC EVERYWHERE! More
I have been coming to Barbera Jeep for service for years. Before that I went to Jenkintown, they were cold and unfriendly. Barbera's service department is very welcoming and friendly. Not only do they have TV in the waiting rooms, they offer free coffee and come around with snack trays and soft pretzels. Before you know it, your car is ready and you are not frustrated by waiting. I love Barbera Service Department. More
