I went in for an oil change and if course was told about all the other issues with my car. I was curious to see what they would say seeing this was my first time here and I typically go to another location. all the other issues with my car. I was curious to see what they would say seeing this was my first time here and I typically go to another location. Well one thing that stuck out was the service person telling me that I needed a new battery. I thought well that's odd because it was less than a year old. I continued to go along with the song and dance to see how far he'd take it. He explained that it wouldn't make it another day and that I should get a new one at their rate of $491.00. I let him know I wasn't interested and closed out my bill for the oil change. What I did notice was that he never stated the battery issue on my receipt like they do any service you decline. Now I'm certain this was an attempt to get another sale from me so I take my car immediately to another location to get the battery tested. I also wanted to make sure they didn't loosen any wires from it in an attempt to prove their point. As I suspected the other location said my battery was fine and shows no sign of needing to be replaced. Needless to say I will never return to this location as integrity is definitely not part of their culture. More
From prior visits, I typically find your service very complete. I had a new tire installed to replace the temporary. I was totally surprised to find the spare and all the tools laying loose in the trunk complete. I had a new tire installed to replace the temporary. Everything was well done and actually did not took longer than the time mentioned for the whole inspection and the oil change. I don't think service advisors should make the clients feel bad for a survey rating first of all. I worked with Jeff Whitaker for 8 years and he sent me a text saying I should see another service advisor feel bad for a survey rating first of all. I worked with Jeff Whitaker for 8 years and he sent me a text saying I should see another service advisor because of a rating. So service advisors can send texts to their clients to make them feel bad? To be honest, I gave 3 stars because the car I received smelled bad. What is the point of a survey if someone can't be honest??? I called and talked to the service manager, Jimmy Fink, who blamed me and literally told me, you used to work here you should know how the survey works .. are you kidding? So. . .because I used to work there you're going to treat make me feel bad? Wow!! Sadly the 1960 BMW dealership is not convenient for me to take my car to service but going forward I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A BMW FROM THIS DEALERSHIP EVERY AGAIN!!!!!! I am on my third lease with BMW of The Woodlands, and gave them last look on my current lease. NEVER AGAIN. I will never complete a survey again but because of the intimidation tactics I will make sure to paste this review where I can. I can't wait for the texts I will be receiving from the dealership after this review with more blame. More
I would have given zero stars if I could. I have been trying to get a hold of their finance department for over 2 weeks now. I leave messages no one returns calls. For service appointments they never hav trying to get a hold of their finance department for over 2 weeks now. I leave messages no one returns calls. For service appointments they never have loaner cars and service advisers for the most part are just dismissive If you express dissatisfaction. So you either have to waste hours of waiting at the dealership or arrange for your own transportation. I've owned BMW for over 20 years, but moving to Mercedes for the first time in my life. BMW's customer service has become non existent and that used to be one of their great attributes. More
