I purchased a 2024 BMW iX xDrive50 (Certified Pre-Owned) from this dealership in May 2026. Buyers considering a CPO purchase of a BMW here should be ready for used car lot experience. First, the mileage from this dealership in May 2026. Buyers considering a CPO purchase of a BMW here should be ready for used car lot experience. First, the mileage on my signed Federal Odometer Disclosure Statement did not match the CARFAX report I was given in the last minute of closing — a 1,377 mile difference, roughly 5% of the car’s life until then! It’s a digital docusign. One of the tires was at 3 mm at CPO inspection 3 weeks and 1377 miles before purchase …was it still 3 mm or below specs? I wanted a real reinspection after the 1377 miles and the car to be cleaned (love the smell of DEET from the the 1377 mile voyage). At delivery, the car had not been cleaned or charged to 100% as required by the signed CPO delivery checklist,…. There was no charger. No license plate mount (sorry we don’t have any….. we will mail it). The charger was mailed later. Luckily this was not my first EV. On June 30, the sales manager confirmed in writing that a CPO re-inspection was no problem and one would be provided with written results at the detailing appointment. To be fair, they did offer to pick up my car and supply a loaner. Weeks passed with no scheduling progress. When my car was finally picked up in mid-July, my own vehicle’s data shows it was never driven again that day — yet the document sent to me the next evening claims to be a completed inspection. It lists no technician, has no signatures, reports my car’s old early May 26K mileage instead of its current odometer, and certifies gas-engine parts (engine oil, exhaust, transmission fluid, catalytic converter) …erm….those are not on an EV. Comparing that document to my original CPO checklist turned up something harder to explain: my tire tread measurements are reported as higher in July than they were in May! Its a miracle. When I asked the sales manager directly why the re-inspection hadn’t happened as promised, his first answer was that BMW policy flatly prevents recertifying any vehicle within nine months, no exceptions. Within minutes, that became “it’s possible…,” and then minutes later became “it depends on a system. I won’t be able to check until Monday.” Three different answers in about ninety minutes, from the same person, about the same request he’d already agreed to in writing three weeks earlier. He had not checked. On the same call, he also dismissed CARFAX as third-party information with no bearing on the dealership’s own accountability — even though the inspection document above uses that same CARFAX-linked mileage figure as its own. I sent a detailed written request over the weekend asking for a straight answer and a firm return date for my car. As of this review, I have received no response, and the dealership still has my vehicle. 5 days. For an inspection and the pre- purchase detailing. I want to be fair: my sales representative, Victor, has been honest and professional throughout, and none of this is on him. If you’re considering a BMW Certified vehicle here, don’t rely on the CPO label. Don’t rely on CARFAX because the dealer distances themselves, Check the tires, the charge level, the mileage against every document they hand you, and ask to see the signed, technician-verified inspection yourself — the same way you’d approach any used car lot. Go in with low expectations and full presence of mind and with a good background in car specs and you won’t be disappointed. You are unlikely to get the CPO transparency or integrity that the badge implies. (I did not even mention the finance offices double team pressure tactics… more another time) More
