I had my first service done at BMW South this last Monday. It was fantastic. Justin, my advisor, was very friendly, Listened to my one issue, and led me to the lounge where they had coffee and snacks. Monday. It was fantastic. The service department is full of scammers - don't take your car for service there. I have been going to this location for about 4 years with a car under warranty with no issues. This was the first t your car for service there. I have been going to this location for about 4 years with a car under warranty with no issues. This was the first time I took my car in post-warranty and the service advisor recommended 10k of service when I knew I had one bad coil which is a minor issue. The advisor refused to diagnose the coil issue until I fixed an unrelated issue that "could cause" the readings to be off. Of course, this didn't make a difference and once he completed the unrelated service he said I had one bad coil. They recommended I replace all coils which given the car is 6 years old I would have done until they tried to tell me that a 2-year-old coil replaced under warranty should be replaced as well. This is crazy and just a continuation of them trying to pressure you with a high repair bill so you trade-in your car. They are complete scammers. I talked to the service assistant manager who said he would look into the issues and never returned my call. They documented their lies by putting "BMW advises to replace all coils with new coils." This is a complete lie because I know from my prior service BMW will only replace the faulty coil. The service manager told me this when my car was under warranty. I will never go to this dealership again which is sad as I had a good experience when my car was under warranty. They don't care about their customers however and are only trying to rob your wallet. Stay away from these xxxxxxxx. More
