Long wait times with no loaner cars available, services unnecessarily expensive, out of stock complimentary snacks, no wifi, but employees were mostly friendly unnecessarily expensive, out of stock complimentary snacks, no wifi, but employees were mostly friendly More
My experience was mixed. This is the second time I’ve visited this dealership for service, and will likely not be returning unless it is an emergency. Things I enjoyed were This is the second time I’ve visited this dealership for service, and will likely not be returning unless it is an emergency. Things I enjoyed were 1.) the video text of the vehicle inspection from the garage, 2.) the automated text status updates could be nice, if accurate, and 3.) the convenience of location and ride share service provided was a big plus. However, the things I didn’t enjoy outweighed the positive. 1.) Cost of “vehicle check” @$250. I’ve had the vehicle for almost 5 years/25,500 miles and have never incurred a “vehicle check” charge at any other dealership. Other dealerships have done multipoint checks included. 2.) Lack of transparency in costs. I viewed service specials on website ahead of time, which is why I chose a Saturday for their service special (25% off, max $200). Brought up to service associate, but was told I was already getting a “valued”’deal. However, that “value” deal was not transparent on invoice, like it has been at other dealerships. So, is the service check usually more than $250? 3.) The service advisor stated microfilter needed to be replaced. I agreed, even though no service discounts were quoted. However, when I picked up the vehicle. I was told it was not in stock. Why quote me, if they don’t have it? 4.) The dealership was unable to perform recall services. I received notice of a recall for the vehicle, but told BMW does not have a fix for it yet. That seems odd to me. I didn’t think a manufacturer would issue a recall without knowing how to fix. 5.) The credit card service fee of 3% passed on to the customer is a HUGE deterrent. When most things at BMW cost hundred or thousands of dollars per visit, at least it’s nice to get airline points or something form using a credit card. I strongly don’t like this policy!! 6.) The vehicle was not ready when I returned to the dealership. I received a text it was ready, I was sent a ride share to return to the dealership from the dealership. Paid. Only to be told it’s not ready, and still needed a wash. Thanks for the wash, but that was 30-45 minutes. I know lots of other dealerships that offer free washes anytime, even without service. In the end, I paid $300 (with tax and miscellaneous) for the vehicle to be “looked at”. For these reasons, I would not recommend them, and I do not plan to return to the dealership, unless an emergency. Thank you for asking for my feedback. More
Came in for a Recall and was told “I had no rear brakes”. Of course that scared me into doing the brakes at a cost of over. $800. Were they that bad it couldn’t have waited a few days? A week? My bigges Of course that scared me into doing the brakes at a cost of over. $800. Were they that bad it couldn’t have waited a few days? A week? My biggest concern, was Why didn’t the sensor ever go off before then to warn me? If I dint come into the dealership for the recall, how would I have known? More
