John Strode the Service Advisor keep my informed throughout my service appointment and the service department did a great job. Extremely Disappointing and Unacceptable Experience I rarely leave reviews, but this experience warrants it. On January 2, 2026, I purchased a 2024 BMW M235i from this dealership. We drove several hou rarely leave reviews, but this experience warrants it. On January 2, 2026, I purchased a 2024 BMW M235i from this dealership. We drove several hours from Arnold, Missouri to complete the purchase. At the time of sale, the vehicle was explicitly sold to us as BMW Certified Pre-Owned. The transaction itself seemed fine initially. On January 8, I received a call from the salesperson stating that the vehicle was not actually certified due to a dealership error and would need to be returned to Kansas City for recertification. This alone was concerning, as certification should be completed before a vehicle is sold. From there, communication became inconsistent and frustrating. We were told the vehicle would be driven back and forth (not towed) to correct the error, adding significant mileage caused solely by the dealership. The compensation offered was $0.25 per mile, a lease overage rate, which is completely inappropriate for a privately purchased retail vehicle. The situation worsened with the title and registration paperwork. At purchase, we were told paperwork would be mailed within two weeks. That never happened. We later were told—very clearly—that the paperwork would be overnighted via FedEx. No paperwork arrived, no tracking number was provided, and emails went unanswered. As a result, the temporary plates expired, leaving the vehicle unregistered through no fault of ours. To make matters worse, the primary driver is my 17-year-old son, which created a serious legal and safety concern entirely caused by dealership inaction. This experience involved: • Selling a vehicle as Certified when it was not • Poor communication and unanswered emails • Failure to deliver promised registration paperwork • Allowing temporary plates to expire • Creating legal and safety risk for the customer This is not the level of professionalism, accountability, or customer care expected from a BMW dealership. We are now forced to involve BMW Consumer Relations to get basic compliance issues resolved. I would strongly advise potential buyers to be cautious and ensure everything is completed, documented, and verified in writing before leaving the dealership. More
