Client advisor Oscar at BMW OF EL PASO reached out to me after leaving a survey that highlighted the 3 issues I previously mentioned and asked me to bring the car in so they can take a look at issues I was having . I had taken the car to illinois since I work on the road, the same reason I opted for the 2012 Toyota Avalon for being dependable cars whether on the road or not. It took me two days to drive back to El Paso not to mention I had to make multiple stops to clean the bugs off the windshield at gas stations since the car’s wipers were not dispensing the cleaning fluid. A day later after dropping the vehicle, Oscar informed me the car was ready, I asked him what was the issue with the noise, he didn’t respond instead I got call from his Manager Jorge who said he will talk to me when I get to the dealership. I get to the dealership, Jorge starts to show me pictures they took of the control arms and the suspension components stating everything looked good there was no visible tear of the boots or leaks .I asked Jorge how do your technicians diagnose a problem by taking pictures but still the issue was unresolved the clicking/knocking noise was still coming from the driver side which he admitted he can hear it when he jumped into the driver seat and turning the wheel. He proceeds to inform me that the TOYOTA AVALON WAS A VALUE LINE VEHICLE, what does that even mean I asked ? I thought to myself it must because its not BMW and perhaps was not profitable to the dealership and they needed to sell it ASAP. He said its normal wear and tear since the vehicle was a 2012 with over 120k miles and for them to go ahead and fix that, they would have to charge me diagnosis fees, parts and repair. I COULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT I WAS HEARING 2 weeks in after I bought the car.. Jorge also said that the issue with the clicking noise on the driver side when turning the wheel was not a SAFETY ISSUE so they were not all too much concerned.. The TPMS sensors were just reprogrammed and said they drove around for about 20 minutes the light never came back on. I told them there’s a bad sensor in one of the tires but they assured me.there’s no bad sensors. ONLY issue that was fixed was WINDSHIELD WIPERS ARE NOW DISPENSING THE CLEANING FLUID. Seems like they picked the easiest task to correct. I SURELY THOUGHT THIS TIME AROUND BMW OF EL PASO WOULD REDEEM DO THE RIGHT TIHING BY CORRECTING THE ISSUES THE CAR CAME WITH EVEN AFTER STATING THE CAR WAS THOROUGHLY INSPECTED AND MET THEIR STANDARDS . Non BMW buyer beware. I was sold a VALUE LINE VEHICLE !!! More

A couple days later I noticed a clicking sound every time I turned the wheel on the driver side which seems to be either a bad/worn out control arm or a bad CV joint, second issue the TPMS light comes on the dashboard which could have been reset and thirdly windshield fluid doesn’t dispense from the wipers even though reservoir is full. I called one of the managers who had came out on the floor to introduce himself and stated we are here for you anything you need please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. It’s been a week since I left a voicemail and he hasn’t called me back. I informed the sales person that assisted with the purchase and he informs me he will get in touch with the manager & the technician that inspected the vehicle and get back with me. I walked into the dealership without a doubt in my mind that I would be getting a vehicle that was checked out as it was accompanied with a car fax and no surprises would come up after the vehicle is out of the lot and paid for since BMW of El Paso is big luxury vehicle dealer in the City they must surely conduct its business with integrity, so I thought but, I was wrong, it felt like I had purchased the vehicle from Alameda, you buy a vehicle there you can’t.be surprised if the car has issues that were ignored, not fixed or temporarily fixed to get the vehicle out of the lot before the new month rolls in. I always have a mechanic check a vehicle before buying but I didn’t think BMW of El Paso would be the one’s to sell me a vehicle with bad, worn out parts, reset TPMS pressure system and faulty windshield wipers that don’t dispense the cleaning fluid. More

I am a new BMW owner and I had a nail in my tire. ..ruined my morning, BUT, BMW of El Paso, gave me great service and turned my day around. Ms. Karina ensured I had a ride to work and back to the dea ..ruined my morning, BUT, BMW of El Paso, gave me great service and turned my day around. Ms. Karina ensured I had a ride to work and back to the dealership to pick up my vehicle, and it all happened within a matter of a few hours. I was just blown away with the customer service and was very pleased. More
