We followed a salesman there after having a very positive experience with him at Greenwich. Initially the service we were receiving was great, when Ron was there. Then, about two years ago, it changed dr experience with him at Greenwich. Initially the service we were receiving was great, when Ron was there. Then, about two years ago, it changed dramatically. (as soon as the car went off warranty) The service staff was extremely rude, and I have recently discovered that we were charged over $300 for what was a light bulb. They did not call us when the car was repaired. They no longer washed the car as part of the service. After the car was off warranty, we no longer had loaners. It seems as if they do everything to force you to buy a new car from them. When we purchase a new BMW, we will find a different dealership. We have recently found a good BMW mechanic and will use him in the future for our X5 and Z3. More
Horrific. Go elsewhere. Anywhere else. We purchased a few cars from this dealership and are still met with a very rude service staff, that is if you could even get an actual person on the phone. Buy an Audi or it you must get a BMW try the dealership in the New Haven area, they have been beyond accommodating when BMW of Darien failed us more than once. More
I asked for a scheduled maintenance, they stuck me with an "Inspection II" service - $1,000 later ($600 of which was for labor, most of it just "inspecting" the car). I'm on my second BMW purchased/serviced from this dealer, and I've owned many cars. This dealer is far superior to the SAAB, Jeep, and Volvo dealer's in the area I've been to. They excel in customer servic and I've owned many cars. This dealer is far superior to the SAAB, Jeep, and Volvo dealer's in the area I've been to. They excel in customer service in both the sales and service departments. They are friendly people, courteous, thorough and sincerely happy to serve. Excellent follow up. Timely appointments. Very nice accomodations for waiting. Part of my overall very-good experience may be because of BMW's service plan. Service and repairs have always been covered, and I trade my cars in when the coverage expires. Otherwise it could become rather expensive, quickly, to repair a non-covered vehicle. These are highly trained technicians who deserve to earn good money and should be paid accordingly. I highly recommend this dealer for sales and service. It's about the team of individuals who work there, not about the dealership itself. More
They seem to have a problem serving African Americans. xxxx poor attitude toward customers spending their hard earned money. They will even lie to your face if they don't "like" you. The parts manager told me that they don't accept credit cards over the phone and that they don't ship parts, both of which are confirmable lies. I'm not surprised that some people have great experiences though. Depending on your caste, you just might. Bottom line, these people are hideous. They are a disservice to the company they represent and the community at large. More
I have had a horrible experience with BMW of Greenwhich. I am 19 years old and they treat me horrible there. I wanted them to fix a problem with my car's engine, they didnt want to do it so the service wri I am 19 years old and they treat me horrible there. I wanted them to fix a problem with my car's engine, they didnt want to do it so the service writer lied to my face and told me (at 35,000 miles on my car) that my engine wasnt warrantied. OK.<br><br>I took my car to Darien BMW for this same problem. I have had this problem for over a year and nobody has every been able to diagnose it. I finally couldnt take it anymore and had them look at it. I must say i was surprised to be treated as well as i was. I'm used to getting xxxx poor treatment from Greenwhich. Anyway, they did everything in their power to correct my problem. An oil change didnt work so they are replacing something that requires them to drain the oil so they are even going to refund my money for the last oil change. They have knmowledgable tech's and I am very pleased with their service. More
Just bought the new 745LI and it's been in the shop longer then I've own the car.They wanted to give me a Chrysler loaner car while I'm paying 1035.00 a month for a bmw.They don't treat you very well w longer then I've own the car.They wanted to give me a Chrysler loaner car while I'm paying 1035.00 a month for a bmw.They don't treat you very well when you go for service.I've owned Mercedez for the last 14 years ans switched to a bmw for the first time boy am I sorry they should take a lesson from Mercedez how to treat customer that just spent 85.000.00 on a car. I actually thought that Darien did a much better job then Ridgefield. I had a 2000 323i that i bought from Ridgefield and the service was always a nightmare up there. I repeatedly took it back to get the same things fixed. Finally i took it to Darien and they solved the problems, which is why I ended up buying my 2003 330xi from them. Thats just my 2 cents. More
