BMW "Customers" are cash-cows ? This is a zero star review. I bought 2.5 gallon of diesel exhaust fluid on June 13th 2024. Upon purchase, the BMW service agent in the parts se This is a zero star review. I bought 2.5 gallon of diesel exhaust fluid on June 13th 2024. Upon purchase, the BMW service agent in the parts section stated "And if you have a problem filling it into the car, just drop by, we'll be happy to give you a hand." I did stop by on the 24th of June, asking them to indeed give me that hand. The first service agent in the car intake section stated upfront that they would charge 1/2h of work for helping fill in the diesel exhaust fluid, at a service rate of >>220$/h, plus tax. Requesting the manager, he reiterated their ask, with a smirk "It's not that easy to fill it in, is it ?" - Well: • had I ever considered buying another BMW ever again: This was it. - Thanks, Mr Service Agent Manager, you are making your home office in Munich very proud !!! "Aus Freude am Fahren." - Did you ever hear that ? Seems like for you it's "Aus Freude am Abkassieren." - Nein Danke. "The ultimate driving machine" "serviced" by a bunch of arrogantsii who are living out their dream that a "customer" really is a cash cow ? There are other luxury car brands out there that drive well, where I am treated like a customer at dealerships. • how come the first agent offered help, clearly with a service-minded and customer-friendly attitude, whereas today's team was all out to charge me well above 100$ (!) for an item that BMW has priced at more than 30$, which btw costs a third of that at no-name retail (and which costs pennies to make) ? More

Exemplary. I am so glad that Kurt Hinrichs was assigned to my inquiry after I cold called BMW of Mamaroneck about a repair project. Kurt was and did everything I am so glad that Kurt Hinrichs was assigned to my inquiry after I cold called BMW of Mamaroneck about a repair project. Kurt was and did everything right: friendliness, professionalism, communication, knowledge, access, scheduling, logistics, thoroughness and follow-through. He was always proactive, and he under-promised and over-delivered, delivering below the schedule and budget he quoted me. And the result was perfect, among the best bodywork I happen to have seen. Without me requesting it, Kurt specified that full scans of my car be done at the dealership before and after the repair. In every way, I am impressed. My thanks to Kurt Hinrichs and everyone who worked on my car for this project. More
