Autos Direct Online totally changed my thoughts of the used car buying experience. I spoke with Dan Caldwell, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I was very concerned about purchasing a vehicle ov used car buying experience. I spoke with Dan Caldwell, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I was very concerned about purchasing a vehicle over the computer/phone and not having enough information or being told the entire situation with the vehicle, i.e.looks of the vehicle, mechanical condition, natural wear and tear, etc. During my phone conversations with Dan Caldwell I asked him very in-depth questions about the condition and shape of the vehicle. He told me about the scratches, dings, mechanical and condition of the interior. He was even able to send me some pictures of the scratches. A great feature that I used was the free CarFax report. After making my deposit over the phone and sending the wire transfer, I flew into Cleveland. Dan picked me up at the airport and when I got to the office all the paperwork was ready and the car was freshly washed. I could not believe the condition of my vehicle. It was better looking than the pictures and Dan's description. This experience totally changed by thought of the used car buying process. From now on I will be contacting Dan Caldwell at Autos Direct Online for my next vehicle purchase. I have also started to refer my friends and co-workers. More

My wife was online car searching for a vehicle. She was on the Auto Trader website and ended up on autosdirectonline.com. I am a skeptic so I wasn’t too sure about the online thing. Once she got everything set up, I reluctantly went in to check out the vehicles. I was pleasantly surprised. They had a large inventory with great cars and very good prices, a lot with low miles too. We were helped by Dan Caldwell. He was very helpful and very informative. He was straight up in telling us the little stuff that our vehicle needed. Everyone was nice, making sure someone had waited on us. Sean, who closed the sale, was also very helpful and thorough, but most importantly, they made purchasing our 2007 Dodge Durango, a smooth and easy experience. I found a Cadillac CTS simply a beautiful car, after my test drive the salesman asked for a deposit, I just wasn’t sure till I talked with my wife.. so the next day I went to buy it; cash in hand. The salesman called me when I was ten minutes away and I asked if i was still coming.. I said of course, as I pulled in he told me it was sold; I was devastated.. In the end told him to call me if the sale doesn’t go through. I continued to look through the site, because they have very nice vehicles and prices I noticed the car I wanted was listed again. My salesman never called; so I called and Julie Turner answered, she was wonderful we made the deal over the phone so an internet shopper didn’t buy it from under me again. On the way home I smelled something and I just put it off as the heater warming up. At home we found an oil leak.. I took the car to my mechanic and he told about a few problems; I am not a mechanic, so I never noticed them during the test drive. (only noticeable on a lift) I called the dealership right away and talked to Dan M. Who put me in touch with Dan Caldwell (mgr), both quality guys who said they would do everything they could to make this right. now i'm stylin in a Caddy that i wouldn't have it wasn't for Julie and team at ADO. Bought and paid for a Honda S2000 in advance. I explained to Dan Caldwell several times that I would be flying in from Canada and I would need the original title when I picked up the car. Dan mentioned he would have everything in order when I arrived. I knew something was up when I arrived. Dan avoided me for a little over an hour. Finally he gave me the car keys and tells me to take the car for a run. I did this quickly. When I got back to the showroom he continued to avoid me. After another 45 minutes he gets the paperwork out, we get it all signed. I don't see the title so ask. He tells me they don't have it. I'm very upset by this time. I've been in the showroom being avoided for the last 2 hours (along with 3 other customers). Dan gets his boss (Dave Lasrafka) to come over to discuss this. Dave offers to ship the car to Buffalo when they get the title. I told him this would not be very helpful as I live another 2000 miles away from Buffalo. After a few minutes reflection I go over to Dan Caldwell's desk give him the keys and ask for my money back. Dan goes away and comes back with an offer. If you give us till 12 noon tomorrow. We will pay your hotel room tonight and have your title here and have you on the road by noon tomorrow. Although this means missing an important meeting in Toronto that night I agree. I show up at the dealership the next day at 11AM. Dan avoids me till noon. I finally catch him in the office and ask him if he has the title. He does not. I ask for my money back. After flying from the very east end of Canada and spending 2 days in Cleveland I get my money back. I left the dealership and made arrangements to fly home. My out of pocket expense to fly to and from Cleveland is $2500.00. The only reason I agreed to pay in advance for the car - sight unseen - was because Dan told me this was the only way they could have the title on hand. What he didn't tell me was that they were using my money to but the car and that's why they didn't have the title on hand. This was a very bad experience. The situation was bad but it was made worse by the staff at this dealership. They came across as very shady. If you are viewing this dealership from Canada - look somewhere else. You will not have the title you need to get through US customs. More

The car is really clean for a 2005 and I drove it straight through to Missouri, about 783 miles without any problems. It handled and performed superbly!
