Dan was helpful in resolving the fact that the description of the vehicle having a CD player radio was untrue. We agreed to a reduction in price and took the car on a test drive. The car had another issue with the automatic trans shifter having a defective/broken park position interlock. This means that the car can be placed in any gear/position with or without the key. This means it can roll away on a hill should something bump the floor shifter. He had his "backroom" mechanics look at it briefly and said that would not be fixed, but it was not a "safety issue". I figured I would get that fixed on my own as I had driven all the way from Michigan to pick up the car. However, I was disappointed that was not revealed in the ad or on Ebay. After we took delivery we stopped to get the car filled with gas to find that the car had a "locking" type gas cap and we had not been given a key. When we called to ask about that the Sales Manager blew us off saying" we don't have a key for that, so we'll just send you a replacement cap" Gee... Thanks for your great customer service there MR MANAGER...(MIKE).How do you expect to live up to that promise when you did not ask for my name or any other information?? Further down the road the A/C began to leak water inside the cab of the car on the passenger side floor causing quite a puddle I might add. Oh well another undisclosed issue for me to deal with at my expense. Needless to say, I am not impressed at all with the disclosure policies or the dealers idea of what a car should have fixed before re-sale. On another note the receptionist needs to be schooled on what it takes to appear at least somewhat interested in customers who walk into the dealership.. Gary C More

The vehicle arrived with 1400 more miles on it than what was advertised! The Bill of Sale reflected wrong odometer reading (listed the advertised mileage, not actual). This is important when it comes to t was advertised! The Bill of Sale reflected wrong odometer reading (listed the advertised mileage, not actual). This is important when it comes to the length of the factory warranty leftI. The vehicle had trash throughout the inside. I was told that the vehicle would be checked and any problems corrected with a local dealer since the car still had a factory warrantly. The "service engine light" was on, so the car was never checked or serviced as promised. I understand that there will be minor dings and dents. However, their site states that they will mention all defects and photograph same. None of the dents and door dings were shown in the posted pictures and neither was the 2'x2' paint overspray on the hood. It is impossible to get a phone call returned during or after the sale. The price was very fair, but understand that you will have to do the detail work, minor repairs and fix little things. There was no manual, no accessories or key FOB for the car. If you live in Ohio, go inspect the car, especially if the factory warranty has expired. If you live outside the area, pay for an independent inspection, it is worth it for peace of mind and to find out what the true defects are!!! I would recommed them, only if you follow my suggestions. More

I just purchased a 2007 Subaru WRX from Autos Direct I just purchased a 2007 Subaru WRX from Autos Direct Online. It was on eBay and Frank offered the car to me for less if I purchased off eBay. The pi I just purchased a 2007 Subaru WRX from Autos Direct Online. It was on eBay and Frank offered the car to me for less if I purchased off eBay. The pictures looked great (I still have them and the EBay item # if anyone of you would like to see it) Needless to say I am in the Exact same boat as 95% of Autos Direct online customers in that the car was shipped to me and is completely different then the photos show. Pictures are verifiably Doctored and fake. Tons of scratches, small dents and this is ONLY the beginning of the problems. AC doesn't blow cold. Needs $800 repair to fix AC. Thanks Frank for sticking me with NO AC for the summer. BAD BRAKES. These are the first thing looked at an inspection. Easy to tell. The brakes are completely rusted and shot. Dangerous as a matter of fact. the entire car shakes when I try to stop it. I wonder if Frank or any of these people would put their children in the cars they sell. I know I wouldn't and now can't. The 3 options that came with the car are broken. The WORST part of this entire experience is that these people will sell you a car and NEVER speak to you again after the sale. I know when a used car dealership is in such trouble with its customers that they can't and won't answer the phones because they are not answering for sales, they are answering Complaints. When I wanted to buy the car they were their and answered. After the sale when the problems started they NEVER answered any calls. I am sure told by the managers to only call back a customer who is "buying" a car. If you go to the site they have ALL the pictures and phone number of the salesman, but just try and call any of them and you will Never get through. I don't know how I did buy the car, because they Never answer. If you do get them its a mistake. I purchased the car 3 weeks ago and have NOT even received my title so I cannot Register my car and again their "Title" department will not return my calls about this important matter that has nothing to do with the Major medhanical problems that the car also has. I have contacted the Ohio Attorney generals office this week and am filing a full complaint. I have been buying and selling cars for 20 years and believe me when I say I absolutely know when a company is close to being a criminally run operation and this company Autos Direct online is just that company. Ruthless immoral people who would sell you something that could kill your family because they NEVER really do an inspection on the car and then these people try to sleep at night. Just Imagine, they say that they sell 300 cars a month & cannot even take care of problems and make customers happy. Instead of losing a few dollars and doing right by people who need simple basic transportation, they are putting people through traumatic situations and think nothing of it. This is Savage behavior that has ruined car sales for many a good dealer. This is No joke. These people know what's at stake here and they give true meaning to the term USED Car Dealer, and represent everything wrong with people who put profit ahead of morals and what's right. I absolutely know 100% that any Positive comments on here, eBay or elsewhere are forced, paid untrue from people who were paid $50 and found out afterwards they should never have sold their own soul to these criminals. I will be working with Ohio Attorney general on this one. Frank, you have a chance to redeem yourself and do the right thing in life. However, once a used car salesman always a used car salesman. Very sad. More

I will be honest, buying mostly online felt risky, but at the end, it was worth it. I received a quality vehicle with about $2,000 savings over comparable vehicles in my area. I was able to buy a extended the end, it was worth it. I received a quality vehicle with about $2,000 savings over comparable vehicles in my area. I was able to buy a extended warranty with that savings and felt very satisfied with the deal. The only problems I had were not directly caused by the dealership. Buying a vehicle in Ohio has it quirks. Ohio takes quite a long time to process the title work needed to license in my state. They did fudge the purchase date (unsure if that was intentional or not) so it didn't cause a penalty when licensed. They also included the extended warranty price on the purchase price on the Title, which caused an extra $75 in sales tax in my state. Overall, it was a pleasure working with Julie, and I will look at the inventory of this dealership the next time I need to purchase a vehicle. More
This was my first time buying a car and I spent a long time researching and test driving cars. When I came across my 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS I fell in love with it. These guys are scammers and the good reviews are xx. First, it is impossible to buy from them on EBay because they know you can get your money back. Also, Ebay will hold them accountable. So they push First, it is impossible to buy from them on EBay because they know you can get your money back. Also, Ebay will hold them accountable. So they push you to buy directly from them. They omit all of the promises they make from the contract while sending you a void of warranty for you to sign even though the warranty was promised. Then, the kicker, they want you to tell the finance company that you saw the car at the dealership. When I confronted them with the ommissions from the contract, Dan said that he felt I was trying to pull something. Hah, does that actually work on people??? I had to forward him his text promises to me. I told him the deal was off and so he then sent me emails agreeing to just a part of what was promised. We backed out when they gave us the final demand of lying to the bank. These guys are crooks. They sell online because it is easier to take advantage of people. I did not buy and would not buy from these scam artist ever!!!! Buyer beware!!! More
