I recently decided to replace my 2000 Lumina because it's now over 204K miles. I remembered that my high school classmate, Colleen Tinker, worked for Automotive Search and I tasked her with finding a ne it's now over 204K miles. I really had no time to do the legwork of finding a new car. I gave very few parameters to Colleen yet she found a great car for me. My requirements were simple: either AWD, FWD, or 4WD, nothing "compact", and reasonable mileage. I wasn't in a hurry but just wanted to find the right car for me. I thought it might take a few weeks. Colleen took the ball, ran with it and found a 2008 Ford Taurus Ltd that had only had one previous owner within just a few days. The mileage is low, it's spacious, it fits the requirements having AWD, and it's in excellent condition. Both Automotive Search's mechanics and my own looked over the vehicle. The overall transaction, including signing paper work, getting keys, processing the trade, etc took in total, less than an hour of time. In a business where everyone is measuring whether the customer is 'satisfied,' consider that satisfaction in my opinion is the lowest possible good rating. My wife and I were thrilled! We thought we were getting a good rate on our loan, Colleen beat it, and not by a little bit!
