Nicole, As the highest volume dealership in the state, we have no choice but to offer our vehicles on a "first come, first served" basis. We cannot turn away a customer who wants to buy a vehicle because another customer has an appointment to see it.  In this particular case, you were fully aware the vehicle was not being held for you. In fact, your Sales Advisor specifically asked you if you wanted to move forward when you initially came to see the vehicle. Your response was that you wanted to "sleep on it." At that point Dimitri explained that the vehicle was available to any other customer. This is a very important point to make given the fact that you've questioned the transparency of our process.  Respectfully, the vehicle was not yours, you were not told it was being held for you, and there was no agreement for you to come "sign and pay". You had the opportunity to purchase the vehicle but decided to wait 24 hours to decide which was your right. There's nothing wrong with a consumer taking the time they need to make an important decision. Unfortunately, during that time, someone else chose to purchase the vehicle before you did. I don't know what can be done, it's mostly just bad luck on my part. I bought the car on 2/16 and didn't make it home without a problem. Halfway home the heat stopped working. My wife and I figured that we did something wrong as we were unfamiliar with the car yet. It then gave me a check high voltage system warning and said that acceleration is being limited. (though it drove fine). I took the car to a local dealer the next morning and dropped it off. Two days later they got everything working, but they need to replace a coolant system in the HVAC to truly fix it. I am still waiting for that now on 3/9 with no end in sight. I originally got my car back to use on 2/18, and it actually worked until 2/27, when it stopped charging again. I took it back to the dealer on 3/2 and it is still there. So I bought a practically new car with less than 900 miles on it and in the 21 days since I've bought it I've realistically been able to use it for around 9 days. I don't think anyone could blame me for not being happy. As far as the buying process, it sucked but is what it is. It was a busy day, but we were also held a really, really long time. I have stellar credit so I don't buy that it was a long wait for that. I was patient for a really long time until my pregnant wife got really uncomfortable, and amazingly after been told numerous times that we would be up in 5 minutes and that we would be next (despite other people being going into the financing portion ahead of us) as soon as i raised my voice and make a stink about it, the finance department was suddenly 100% ready within seconds. The situation sucks and someday I will have my car back and it will be fixed under warranty, but this has been really stressful on me and my family and just sucks to deal with, especially with such a low mileage car. I am guessing it wasn't thoroughly tested on your end when you got it which I get. Maybe my fault for focusing too much on the low mileage when I picked it.

I'm certainly not going to engage in name calling with someone who leaves a review for a Wendy's because they forgot to put cheese on his chicken sandwich. Instead, I'll just point out the facts which the reviewer is clearly unable to come to terms with.  Saying that vehicles are offered on a "first come, first served basis" is not a defense. It's our policy, as well as the policy of most, if not all car dealerships. We simply cannot turn away a customer who wants to purchase a vehicle because another prospective customer has expressed an interest in it. There was never an agreement to hold the vehicle or be "placed in the back." Those words were never spoken, and the claim that they were is the reviewer's delusion. Not only was there no promise to hold the vehicle, but the reviewer was aware of another customer in the showroom who was interested in the vehicle and ultimately ended up purchasing it. There was also no agreement on price, as we offer "no haggle pricing". If you look at the images the he posted, the price of the vehicle is clearly $11,295, and it never changed. The fact is that the reviewer lost out on the vehicle because someone else committed to moving forward before he did. There was nothing shady or dishonorable about it, and the reviewers' claims of such are complete nonsense. Sincerely, Bill S., Dealer Principal
