Thank you for the comments. But your car has been out of warrenty by 500 miles when you had called the dealership to ask if I would help you, and I said bring the car down to my shop and I would have my mechanic look to see if we could fix the problem. The customer then stated that he want us to get a new power streering pump. We stated that we would pay for the pump and have not heard from the customer.

I called back multiple times. I got Domingo on the line the fourth call. I asked him (since I live three hours away) if, after his shop looked the car over and confirmed that it had a leak (my mechanic said it was clearly not a new leak) and showed them the report as to why it would not pass inspection in my state, if I could have my own mechanic install the pump at my own expense. I thought that Domingo would appreciate this, as it would save his shop a couple hours. It was not a ridiculous request, I clearly said that I'm well aware that Direct Auto Mall would have to look over the car themselves and confirm the issue before following through on Domingo's promise to replace the pump. He got weirdly flustered about my request, and told me I was making it one big headache. I didn't want to disrespect his shop, but I wanted my own mechanic to do the work because I was VERY uncomfortable after finding out I had a wrongly-installed caliper that was crimping a break line (another reason it wouldn't pass inspection). I completely understand that I am at fault for not getting it inspected before my warranty miles were up, I didn't realize I drove it that much. I made that clear as well, and when Domingo first said they would help I knew it was a good faith decision on his part. However, after telling me I was giving him a headache, he said "then you go pay for the pump and pay your mechanic to do it" and HUNG UP ON ME. Straight up, hung up the phone. Blown away by how unprofessionally it was handled, and have been wondering if I'd receive a call back ever since. I just wouldn't want someone like me running into the same problem.

The customer was explained the price,payment,intrest rate and the downpayment. She agreed to the whole deal and went to the Business office and signed all the paperwork where again the everything was explained to her as she signed. She even called her insurance company to add the new auto to her policy. Nothing was hidden from her and everything was explained.
