My mom needed a car and went to Direct Auto for a car. She found a car that she liked but she needed a $1,000 down payment which I gave Direct Auto for her. She signed papers with Clayson for the vehicle and was told they would call her the next day when they hear from the bank because it was late in the evening. They never called her and she had to keep calling to get try to get any information on when she could pick up her car only to be told by Clayson, BOB and Domingo that the were waiting on word from the bank but that didn't stop Direct Auto from cashing my check a week and a half before she was able to pick up the car and that only happened because I called and said we would be up there the next day either for the car or for the $1,000. We get there to pick up the car and Clayson didn't even know what car was hers and were it was. He finally found the car she took it home my mom when to her insurance company and found out that Direct Auto never transferred her registration. It was a complete nightmare dealing with anyone at Direct Auto and would NEVER recommend ANYONE to even think of buy a vehicle from Direct Auto. My suggestion is go on the Better Business Bureau website and read all the complaints that have been filed. More

Direct Auto Mall is a chop shop. If you're at all familiar with used auto sales/service and have called in or been to their lot, you're probably aware of this by now. Don't get me wrong, I got a good familiar with used auto sales/service and have called in or been to their lot, you're probably aware of this by now. Don't get me wrong, I got a good deal on a Maxima here. They have good prices, they buy cars at auction, run them through their "shop" (I'll explain the quotation marks further along), and flip them (or try) quickly. Do not expect integrity or genuine kindess/ care from them, though. Buying the car was ridiculous and intimidating. The Jr. Sales manager was a nice kid, but strictly the mouth of Domingo (sales manager) who would not budge on their price. I wanted the car too badly, and fully regret signing the dotted line. Their "finance" dept is a joke- again, very nice kid, but he had no idea what he was doing. Direct Auto Mall, this is not a minimum wage job. Up until now, these things are typical of used car dealerships (choppy customer service, amateur sales process, etc)- but now I will get to why I do not recommend them. I brought the car to my mechanic to have it inspected. By saying the breaks were 'redone', they mean that they replaced the pads. Thats it. The rotors weren't even resurfaced, even though they could have even used replacement. They put the front right caliper on 180 degrees out of alignment so the break line was crimped and on the verge of breaking (had an indent in it already)- VERY DANGEROUS, would not pass inspection. Furthermore, the car has a leaking power steering pump. This was no doubt noticed during their '21 point safety inspection', but they chose to ignore it. When I called in about having the $700 part replaced, I was told that since it was 400 miles outside of warranty (had to drive it a long distance to get it home, and apparently too much in between purchasing it), they wouldn't do anything for me. Domingo was nice at first, asking me to drive four hours to have them 'take a look' and he would 'try to see if he could help me out'. There's no way the slimey used car dealer would do anything for me unless there was legal reason they had to. Which I am working on, as it was illegal for them to sell me the 'inspected' car as it was. The break line was on the verge of bursting. They probably sell plenty of cars that are good buys, but do not inspect integrity or good service from them. Also, their shop is a bunch of untrained boneheads. They only replaced break pads (the rotor needs to be resurfaced for this to be effective), and the breaks are noticeably weak. Their customer base is mostly lower income mid 20's-early 30's greater boston couples who finance and likely are hard pressed to afford a car in the first place- go in there and check it out, let me know what you think. Hopefully you'll have better luck than me. More

I was trying to buy a car ok. I went to Direct Automall in Framingham, nothing was explained to me not even the price of the car not interest percentage. But they were asking how much money I have. Then I was forced to signed forms, signed here again.I said to them I will be back for that they said "no don't worry about that we will take care of it".Just put down the money for the car you want then if you change your mind. You will get your money back. Two days later I called what is my percentage of interest 21% I said I,m not gonna take any car because I'm not gonna afford it. No you will loose your money or take that car. Why should I take the car if I'm not gonna afford it? Then you are not gonna get any money back. I lost $ 1000 dollars from that place. Message to you DON'T SIGN ANY THING. DON'T GIVE THEM ANY MONEY. AT THE END OF THE DAY YOU WILL BE FORCED TO BUY A CAR THAT YOU DON'T EVEN WANT. PLEASE STAY AWAY.GO TO WEYMOUTH AUTOMALL NICE PEOPLE EXPLAINED EVERY STEP IN DETAIL THEY WILL NEVER FORCED YOU INTO ANYTHING. MOST IMPORTANT YOU GET YOUR CAR THE SAME DAY.
