I've been to several dealerships over the years and was not impressed with most. One in Midwest City was so rude and unprofessional I just got back into my Jeep and left. I was really impressed with all the staff at Automax Shawnee. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and the purchase experience pleasant and easy. They offered several suggestions that made it the easiest purchase I've ever made in my life and actually saved us money. I was very comfortable at Automax while they handled the paperwork. They are dog friendly as well and insisted I bring my Jack Russell in from the car while we waited. I have since been back there several times for various followups and each time, I have been treated well and taken care of quickly. I have since recommended Automax to several of my patients and friends. More

On Sat 3/16/2013 mid morning first visit to AutoMax. Thomas Billings was the first sales associate to approach. Thomas allowed me my freedom to do so but assured me if there was anything more he could do, he was available and ready to assist. After getting a closer look at a couple of Jeeps, I moved over to the Dodge Ram 1500, Found a vehicle of interest, 2013 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Edition Crew cab 4x4. I left the AutoMax dealership only later to return to AutoMax along with my wife. I wanted to show her the Dodge Ram 1500, for her opinion, She loved it, Our second visit, Thomas Billings was the first to approach again. Thomas made my wife and I very comfortable towards trying to purchase this vehicle. I had my doubts, mainly cause I wasn't quiet certain where my credit rating would fall. From the time I entered Thomas Billings office to the closing of the sale was a pleasurable, comfortable and efficient experience. My wife and I had been looking at a jeep wrangler from another location. On a whim, we stopped in to the dealership, curious to see what they had in stock. We were greeted by Courtney and immediately were shown the same vehicle as what we were looking at. We discussed some pricing options and wanted to do some more research. Later, Courtney followed up with a call and some options, which promoted me to return that day. Not only did they meet our price, but we received enhanced warrantee coverage and beat the price of the competition. Later, we had issues with the new jeep, and dealership promptly handled everything with no issues. While there, I was curious about the large truck options. Their knowledge of the products and willingness to work with me allowed me to purchase both a Jeep Cherokee and a new Ram 2500 in the same day. Steve and Ken followed up with me on the truck when Courtney wasn’t available and was able to handle all my questions. Gareth in Finance was able to take care of all my paperwork quickly and without any problems. Ron and Ken were able to provide me some experience based knowledge on the trucks which convinced me that I was making the right deal. After talking with a Dodge dealership in Midwest City, (total incompetence) I was completely turned off of any dodge/jeep products. Automax Shawnee proved that it’s the dealership that matters. I WILL refer people to them from one on and when it comes time to purchase again, they will be my 1st choice. More

After a terrible experience with a different dealer, coming to Automax was a difference of night and day. They were so helpful. Pleasant and car buying aren't usually mentioned in the same sentence, but buying from Automax in Shawnee was actually pleasant.
