Regarding the question, "Would you recommend this service center?", I was only given Yes or No options. I wouldn’t have mentioned any of the following issues, including the damage to the car, if I hadn’t been personally asked to leave a review. When I got the car back, I noticed that both sides of the interior A-pillars were scratched, and the fabric was ripped in a couple of places—one tear is about six inches long. This was disappointing, as the technicians likely noticed the damage but seemingly took no steps to fix it or mention it. I’m not sure if this was caused by BMW technicians or a third-party glass installer. This visit was originally scheduled for 12/10/24, but I received an automated email on 12/1 "confirming [my] BMW service visit" for 12/3 - I figured I had my dates wrong. I believe this caused some confusion for both Brittany and me, but we proceeded with the 12/3 date. On 12/8, I received a similar confirmation email for the originally scheduled 12/10 appointment, which is no longer needed. This isn't a big deal, but mentioning it is the point of leaving a review. I’m not sure what the norm is for these situations, but the service team drove the car ~45 miles. This seemed excessive for an oil change and diagnosing an air leak in the windshield. While I find the mileage high, I don’t know the diagnostic process or what’s standard, though these trips are all tracked in the app with various stats. I had another dealership voluntarily tell me they joy-drove (sp?) my car before, so I happened to look this time when it came to mind. Brittany was helpful, and everyone else I interacted with was friendly, including the staff at the drop-off/pickup area and the payment processing desk. The waiting area is also pleasant, with comfortable chairs and included food and drink. Brittany has additionally always provided a loaner car for appropriate visits. This is a big boost in conveniency as I don't live particularly close to Autohaus and pass a couple BMW dealerships on the way to/from. More
