My service experience was terrible. I was told by my service advisor that the BMW OEM wiper blades I installed two weeks prior to my service visit for an oil change and a serpentine bel I was told by my service advisor that the BMW OEM wiper blades I installed two weeks prior to my service visit for an oil change and a serpentine belt were worn out and "streaking." The service advisor didn't believe me when I told him they were new and said he'd "have to put eyes on them," effectively telling me I didn't know what I was talking about. Later, a member of management told me "the service tech recommended they be replaced based on how long it had been since my last visit." The parts/service manager, after my conversation with management, told me "the tech was working on two vehicles at the same time and just got confused." So, initially I was insulted, then I got one story, and then later got another story. I made my appointment two weeks in advance, and then dropped the car off early the afternoon of the day before my scheduled appointment with the promise from the service advisor it would be done by COB on the date of my appointment. "The belt takes less than two hours, " I was told, so I couldn't get a loaner, which is why my wile and I decided to drop it off since we both have obligations during the day. But, my car wasn't done by COB on the date of my appointment, and my wife and I had to jump through 1000 hoops to make our schedules work out. I've recommended Autohaus to many of my friends and family over the last 11 years, but my experience yesterday, especially the insult and the different stories from management, have comepletly soured my opinion of Autohaus. I will never use this dealership again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. More
