I recently had to purchase a new (or used) car. I went to a number of dealerships, 6 in 4 days-all makes. Generally I could not get into the lot to look without being accosted. Even when told I was only to a number of dealerships, 6 in 4 days-all makes. Generally I could not get into the lot to look without being accosted. Even when told I was only looking, the sales people still followed. Only at two dealerships did this not occur. Both were Subaru. In all cases, when I found a vehicle I may be interested in, I would ask for the best available price, advising that I did not want the monthly payment speech, or to have to haggle in any way. Only one dealership met this, Power Subaru of North Scottsdale. Mark and Mustafa were perfect to work with. Upon arriving on the lot I was allowed to browse with no interruption. As I began to focus in on a car or two, Mark walked over to see if I had any questions. I did not, so he left me, advising I could call him over at a time. When I did, he did not try to "sell" me on the car. He even gave me the best price quote available by asking only once. In every single interaction, it felt that I was working with two people who were trying to help me, not sell me. Even when talking to the service department about adding accessories, it was more like working with people who had my interest at heart. Sure they wanted to sell the car, and they said so. However, they also said that if the car was right for me I would buy it, they would not try to sell me on it. I could not recommend this team more. The price was very good compared to all quotes I found online (even truecar.com). My only complaint, and a VERY minor one at that, had to do with the step in the process where you sign the final paperwork and they try to upsell the protection packages. I advised the guy that I was not interested, and he did not push at all. I als advised that I needed to get this part done quickly as I had other appointments that day. It took FAR too long. Chatting would have been nice, and he was a nice guy, but I said I was in a hurry. Overall, Power Subaru in North Scottsdale is awesome. If you are looking for a new car, go there, ask for Mark or Mus. You will be happy you did. More

I work in the mountains of Arizona where it snows alot. A Subaru in snowy mountains is a necessity for a physician and Power Subaru is the closest Subaru dealer to snowy Payson, Arizona. (100 miles) The service dept is quick, and when necessary they give me a loaner. Troy has been most helpful at service. Because of the distance from home to the dealer, a dependable car and service dept are essential. I like the Outback and the customer service at Power so much...my next car will be an upgrade into a fully loaded Outback. Mustafa(Moose)the sale mgr is sharp and flexible. A few hours follow-up work required at no cost, and rental provided for full day. A third visit was required. Rental car was again being arranged for up to 5 days at no charge to accommodate personal schedule. Reason for third visit determined to be separate problem unrelated to repair, but problem diagnosed and repaired within an hour or so at no charge! Rental unnecessary. The entire service department really took great care of us and our car. We'll definitely be back. More

Before going to their dealership, I had a list of very specific conditions that my new car purchase had to meet. Alex over at Power was quick to show me what he had that met those criteria, which actually specific conditions that my new car purchase had to meet. Alex over at Power was quick to show me what he had that met those criteria, which actually turned out to be an INCREDIBLY fortunate/one-of-a-kind find. When conversing with Alex via e-mail and in person, he was very polite and didn't overwhelm me with the typical car-salesman aggresiveness. He showed me the features of the car, the very minor faults (tiny rock chips in the hood; not a big deal at all), and let me take it for a good-distance test drive which allowed me to see the car operate over a wide power band and gear selection. Fortunately, also, as Alex is a current owner of a performance Subaru, he understood this car's features well, and explained everything succinctly. I love detailed information and statistics! They had a clean shop, and I was very impressed with the way Alex presented the financial side of things. He treated me like an adult, and didn't try any of the typical bullshit tricks. The information was all laid out very cleanly, from the cost of the car and the additional fees, the value of my trade-in and monthly payments based on a host of different financing lengths/interest rates. While Alex was away getting the car quickly detailed/cleaned, I had a great time chatting with his bosses (forgot his direct boss's name, but I also talked a bit with the Sales Manager, Jim). They were good guys and told me some good stories while I waited. Jim finally brought me in the back to go over the financing/payment options, which he laid out very well. We had some fun with numbers (again, I love detailed information!) and went through all the paperwork. After getting all that panned out I went through both sad and happy process of moving all my junk from my older faithful Subaru to the new one. Alex and his boss were both out there and seemed just as excited as I was, and continued to be conversational. It was a pleasurable experience for being in a car dealership, and would very highly recommend going through this dealership for a Subaru! More
I just had a fantastic experience at Power Subaru. I drove away with an Impreza STI yesterday after the easiest car deal I have ever been through. The STI is not an easy car to find in stock and with th drove away with an Impreza STI yesterday after the easiest car deal I have ever been through. The STI is not an easy car to find in stock and with the terrible situation in Japan right now, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find one of these cars in stock. Based on past experience I would have expected most dealers to take advantage of the situation and stick close to MSRP. Not so with Power Subaru. There was no haggling whatsoever with my deal - they immediately offered me a great price on the car and a very respectable trade value for my previous car. This was made possible by the fact that through AutoNation they have a network of other manufacturer dealerships they can call on for buy offers on your trade. Even more impressive was the fact that through no fault of their own the initial lease quote was substantially under-estimated by faulty software, but when they discovered the mistake they very generously honored the initial quote and took the substantial financial hit themselves. I have never before experienced such an honest and principled approach to selling a vehicle and needless to say I will likely be a customer for a long time to come. There was no hard-sell on finance office add-ons such as you would normally expect either. I can't imagine a better car buying experience. Big thanks to Alex and Steve for taking such good care of me. If you're in the market for a Subaru, this is where you need to go. More
