Bait and Switch, very dishonest or at the least, terrible mistakes made to the tune of a $2000 snuck in. (They changed the warranty price and added a 'clear bra' which he NEVER ordered and NEVER received) an mistakes made to the tune of a $2000 snuck in. (They changed the warranty price and added a 'clear bra' which he NEVER ordered and NEVER received) and never said word one, NOR did they give him a copy of the receipt, they made it sound like it was for the financing company and he already had his contract. My husband and son went down to Auto Nation on Northsight to get his first car. They settled on a price and interest rate. They negotiated the price of the warranty to $2400. So he gave the down-payment, signed the contract, and went home with the car. Several days later he was told he had to come back because the interest rate had gone up. My husband and I were trying to let him do this himself, but that made me angry, so I called Jody Sedillo with my son on the line. He said they had no control over the interest rate, and there was nothing he could do. We could either bring back the car or sign for the higher interest. Because my son was planning to pay it down quickly, he decided he still wanted the car. He and another person went down and they signed for the new interest rate and thought that was it. Driving home after work his car engine started on fire shortly after he bought it, they kept the car for weeks. It needed a new engine (now I wonder what he got). He checked with the people he made his payments with because they were applying his extra payments forward vs. to the principal (also awful trying to get ahold of those people). We've lived in Scottsdale, I am native, and still own a home there and Carefree area. We've heard of bad dealers, but this kind of behavior is outright criminal. They have not returned phone calls and when we did talk to them, the attitude is 'shrug my shoulders' and 'we can't help you'. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business bureau. Do NOT let your child be taken advantage of. A couple thousand may not be worth your time, but it is the principal of the thing. More
I responded to an advertisement on a recent trade in at this sleepy little dealership. When my wife and I arrived we were shown a filthy vehicle. No follow up on the status of the car. Just a few generic this sleepy little dealership. When my wife and I arrived we were shown a filthy vehicle. No follow up on the status of the car. Just a few generic robot emails. After contacting Sara Kerr, the General manager via email, she merely forwarded it to Carl the used car mgr. After I did all the work chasing that car, Carfax notified me it was sold. CARFAX!! This is a clown factory run by buffoons. All the rejects from AutoNation work here. More
Condescending One of the managers there contacted me out of the blue to correct a harmless matter-of-fact assumption I made in an email to the salesman I was workin One of the managers there contacted me out of the blue to correct a harmless matter-of-fact assumption I made in an email to the salesman I was working with. Not only did he correct me, but he corrected me as if I made the (again) very harmless afterthought about him. He also used that correction to vent about how Subaru is above other manufacturers because they never over-produce cars. In effect, he was telling me that Subaru made juuuusssstttt enough 2019's to last until the 2020's came out. Apparently, they are so miraculously skilled at this that as soon as the last 2019 is sold, the 2020's arrive. They would NEVER be overstocked. His tone was really condescending as he lectured me about Subaru. I'd never talked to, communicated, or met this insecure manager. When I pointed out his inappropriate tone, he responded that he was simply trying to make a point, or some childish nonsense like that. I've always said that explaining rudeness doesn't excuse it. Although I made it clear he wasn't to contact me again, he continued to email-harass me. I'm now shopping for a Honda. I might visit another dealership, but AutoNation's low score on this site is legit. I gave them two stars because the others I dealt with there (and they descended on me from every direction once they got my email address) weren't as pompous as this internet manager. They might be convenient, and if I was a masochist I might go back. But if they're rewarded for creating friction, they'll keep doing it. More

Trash. I'm blown away that this place even has a single positive review. Between the rude and incompetent sales people and managers, the sneaky bait and swit I'm blown away that this place even has a single positive review. Between the rude and incompetent sales people and managers, the sneaky bait and switch tactics, the insulting trade-in values, and the complete lack of ethics or morals, I'm convinced that this is one of the worst dealerships I've ever attempted to work with. And for the record, I've bought and sold 20+ personal vehicles in my life so I've spent countless hours at dealerships all over the US. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of other places to get a better deal on a Subaru (and actually be treated like a human being and valued customer). More
Con Dealership Be aware of this dealership. Tried to get the new 2018 Limited Crosstrek, they gave me a quote to a car after I they asked to wait for a month. Manage Be aware of this dealership. Tried to get the new 2018 Limited Crosstrek, they gave me a quote to a car after I they asked to wait for a month. Manager was not there when he asked me to come visit the place, so the sales guy was not able to give me the deal. Later they sent an updated quote, which I was thrilled about just to find out later after noticing a different vin, it was a different car than what we were working on for a month! And the sales guy verified it it was a different car. Didn't expect Autonation to do this. As I had already bought 2 cars from Lewisville,TX Automation, and along with couple of my friends, so this was a shock. So stay away from this con dealership! Thanks for wasting my time. More
Experience @ Autonation Subaru I leased a new 2017 Subaru Legacy 3.6R in April. We signed the paperwork and took the car. The next day I got a call from the finance manager who di I leased a new 2017 Subaru Legacy 3.6R in April. We signed the paperwork and took the car. The next day I got a call from the finance manager who did the paperwork, asking us to come back and inquiring if we wanted to save some money on the lease payments. We went in to the dealership but the finance manager was not there. We met a second finance manager who said there were no savings as represented, but the finance company wanted to itemize our expenses. When I asked why the first finance manager made the savings representation to us. The second finance manager said she didn't know why the representations were made and that he was not authorized to do this. To be sure, we were quite upset. To placate us they gave us a gold maintenance package and filled the car with gas, but we still left wondering what happened. To date we have not received any calls from the dealership's management.
