The next day I got a call from the finance manager who did the paperwork, asking us to come back and inquiring if we wanted to save some money on the lease payments. We went in to the dealership but the finance manager was not there. We met a second finance manager who said there were no savings as represented, but the finance company wanted to itemize our expenses. When I asked why the first finance manager made the savings representation to us. The second finance manager said she didn't know why the representations were made and that he was not authorized to do this. To be sure, we were quite upset. To placate us they gave us a gold maintenance package and filled the car with gas, but we still left wondering what happened. To date we have not received any calls from the dealership's management. Sadly we hit a patch of ice and it would forever change our lives. The car I had for only two months, and spent countless hours on, and so much money. Is not totaled and will be forever out of our life. The insurance was covering the accident, but none of the aftermarket work or parts I have put into the car. So now I had to start all over, and spend more money on a new car. My previous car salesmen, stayed friends with me after the purchase of the WRX, heard about our accident, called to make sure we were ok. He worked as hard as he could to get me in another car ASAP and even drove out of the city limits to pick up a car he thought I would love. I went down to “previous dealer” and it just wasn’t going my way. It looked like I wasn’t going to be getting into a STi, which I wanted to since I spent all this time making my WRX into a STi. They did say they can get me into a car I was in previously, but I didn’t want to start from scratch again. I then remember a message I got from someone in my car club on Facebook (Simply Subie Arizona) that he can beat any deal out there. So I sent Andrew Tackett a message and we set up a time and I found myself at AutoNation Subaru in Scottsdale. I got there and he was wrapping up with the previous customer, and normally I have no patience, and I already saw the car that he brought out front for me. So I knew he thought of me, he just wasn’t ready yet. So I asked if anyone else can help me, then Mike Minick walked up to me and instantly recognized me and said your just here to see the STi right, come to find out that he is also a member of SSAZ. I was so new to the group, I only knew a few people. He even mentioned how sorry he was about losing my car and joked about adding all my stuff to the STi. Which was my plan all along and just showed me that I wasn’t just a Paycheck to them, but was a person. Since I already knew everything about the WRX, I just wanted to know the difference from the WRX to the STi. Mike walked around the car and showed me everything. He was showing me a Pre-owned car that looked brand new and the only damage I can see or find was a scratch on the rear bumper. The previous owner even left the plastic on the radio. So to me I was just buying a slightly new car. It had less miles on the car then my WRX. I test drove the car and instantly feel in love. I had my girlfriend and son with me, so I let them walk around the car and see it. My son was so excited about the trunk wing, and this time, my girlfriend was there to see everything and all the options. She loved the car from first glance, she saw it before me as we pulled in. She said it was perfect and was customized to just me. Then we opened the door and she saw the interior, I can see her eyes just sparkle. I had a feeling we found our car. Next part is what everyone fears, the negotiations and back and forth. But it went simple, the car was already marked 3k off what the mark was asking for, which I thought was a steal. I did do some haggling, and got the price into a range I felt comfortable with. So for $8 more dollars a month compared to my last car. I had a STi…..SOLD! They even agreed to fix a dent we later found on the rocker, install my previous exhaust, and add some tint on the windshield. They went above and beyond what I expected. Andrew even threw in some shirts and an cargo net for our car. The process took maybe 5hrs. I couldn’t believe it, no hassle, no fussing around. I could tell they really did try to make sure I got into this car. A car I was drooling over since I was 15, I’m 33 now. I was next brought into the Hotbox I call it, the additional sales part and final signatures. I sat down with Anglee Brown and we began the add-ons part. I wanted extend warranties on my last car…but I couldn’t afford it I was told by the banks. So I let her know what happened last time, and she looked at me and said hold on. She found a way to lower my monthly interest and payment, I mean what else could you ask for! We went over every option that was available and things I would want, she never once made me feel like I had to have it. I ended up getting everything I want and got an additional 5 service (Oil Changes for free). I ended up getting the car of my dreams, a car I wanted 2 months ago, the car I thought I was getting into a week ago…for $33 more a month then my last car payment. I left the dealer with so much joy and smiles. I had my family with me and they all made sure we were happy the entire time. As I was driving off the lot, it hadn’t hit me yet. But pulling into the restaurant to celebrate, I heard the car “RUMBLE” and I just broke down into tears….I owned a STi!!! Thank you AutoNation Subaru, Mike, Andrew, Anglee, and anyone else there that made our purchase perfect! Proud Owner of a Fully Loaded, 2016 Black Subaru WRX STi Steven Russo DeadPool is Back!! More
This Dealership is AWFUL. Be prepared. Very lengthy review, been dealing with them for the past six weeks. Issues still not resolved I originally emailed the dealership mid Be prepared. Very lengthy review, been dealing with them for the past six weeks. Issues still not resolved I originally emailed the dealership mid to end august, and applied for a loan. Went into the dealership 8/30 to do all my paperwork put a down payment on my car, was there for 2.5 hours. Michael Minick was salesperson. Was supposed to come back following week to pick up car. Called within the week and asked a few questions about gap insurance, picking up the vehicle, and other little things. Was supposed to get a call back, and never did. All 7 times. Finally on monday (labor day) called and demanded that if my car wasnt ready with what i needed i wanted my deposit back and to just go to another dealership. So finally i got some answers from anglee. She was very helpful. Next day (sept 6.) I went in just thinking i was going to pick up my car . But that was not the case. Ended up being stuck there for a few hours and had to redo all my paperwork AGAIN. Finally everything finished and was on my way... Later that day got home, and realized that the sticky stain on my backseat was still there after dealership assured that car would be detailed before pick up. And my car has no mats. But this issue was my fault. Should of checked this before taking my car off the lot. Fast forward 4 weeks, i get a call from the dealership saying that some paperwork wasnt done. And they needed me to either send a copy of something but if i needed it changed i would have to come back and sign documents. Might i not that u love about 50 minutes away from autonation subaru scottsdale. I asked the person who called me (Anglee) if my loan was already processed and finalized? She assured it was. I told her if not i would rather just give them back my car. It was too much of a hassle. I decided that i would called JP morgan chase (who my auto loan is financed through) and see what was the deal with my paperwork and they had told me that they had NO record of any auto loan in my name. They said it normally takes about 2 weeks to process but at this point I was already a month out. Even the customer service guide through Chase Auto loans told me that I should just return my car to the dealership if possible. I should of taken his and everyone elses advice telling me to return my car. So I finally went into re-sign the paperwork again. And adjust all the issues I had with my car. IE car mats, and the stain. And I was there for about a little over an hour this time as well. But my issues were resolved. And then I had remembered that I had not received my registration and plates in the mail yet so I asked Anglee if my loan paperwork affected in any way. She assured me that my plates should be in the mail any day now and that the loan paperwork was different and it would not affect it. I was only worried about this because I am supposed to move at the end of October and wanted my plates before I left. So here I am , over 45 days after I got my car and I still don't have any plans. So I called the dealership 10/12 anglee wasnt there. I talked to brian george (someone who helped me originally with my paperwork as well) and he told me if my plates were not there by 10/15 to call him and he would email me another temp. That still doesnt help me very much, I move on 10/18 and i still have nothing. Called to talk to george brian or anglee on 10/15. George was not in the office and was told i would get a call back from anglee. And i got NOTHING. I forgot to mention i called and spoke to anglee last week about the plates as well and she told me she was finishing up with a customer and that she would give me a call back by the end of the day and to not worry . And that did not happen either . Called the mvd, and paid $3 online to check if i had any car registered to my name and both couldnt pull up anything... also called the dealership on 10/15 and spoke with tony after i found this informatio. And he also told me he couldnt pull anything up... they say it mormally take 2-4 weeks to get the plates and registrations but we are not six weeks. And I have received nothing. Today 10/17 as I type this review. I am headed to the dealership to resolve this issue as well. It has been such a hassle. I don't live very close and I normally never leave bad reviews for anyone but this has been the worst experience of my life. Just wanted to share my experience with AutoNation Subaru of Scottsdale and how awful it has been and i feel like this shouldn't have been dragged out this long. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone for an easy car buying experience. I do love my car but it was definitely not worth the headache. I should have just paid a higher interest rate and gone to a different dealership.. More

Terrible - profit over people Called to schedule a test drive, showed up on time and waited 15 minutes for the keys. Test drove a Subaru Forester and as I was heading in the office Called to schedule a test drive, showed up on time and waited 15 minutes for the keys. Test drove a Subaru Forester and as I was heading in the office, another family arrived to test the same car. I made an offer and filled out an application. But the sales manager kept me on hold until he could he a better offer from the family. Despite arriving first and waiting for the keys, the car was sold to the family. The sales manager accused me of being rude because I felt wronged because I had made the first offer and told him what's important is principles over people -- is brent here 2 hours thanks to waiting for keys that weren't ready when I arrived. Same day, I received a much better deal in a Forester with 20k lower miles from Reeds Automotive, who were 90 times more professional. Stay away from this dealership. Evil place. More
