While everyone was nice enough, it felt like we worked harder to buy our car then they did to sell it to us. They did hold the car for us for a full week so we could make it down from Colorado, but that’s harder to buy our car then they did to sell it to us. We were promised calls back multiple times to just be blown off, we were trying to finance outside of autonation, and no one would call us back with the information necessary to do so. When that became difficult, we decided to pursue financing within autonation. They had our credit app for 3 full days and never ran it. We finally decided to pay for the car with cash, and advised them of that. We came in for our appt to purchase, after telling them it would be a cash deal and we wanted all paperwork prepared, and we ended up at the dealership for over 3 hours. Even after telling them it was a cash deal, they did not even ensure we were bringing the correct methods of payment. The detail of the car was half-assed, and the products used were straight oil, literally leaving grease stains on jackets and shoes. They also didn’t fill up the tank. My Autonation experience was very positive. Given the current car situation, there was no haggling. Our salesperson, Phillip, was very upfront about everything and happy to spend time with us showing us current car situation, there was no haggling. Once we decided and ordered the car, he communicated regularly on the status of the shipment of the vehicle. Upon receiving the vehicle, he was very happy to go over all the features. The only negative feedback have is that it took 3 hours to actually go through the vehicle and sign all the paperwork, etc. Some of that was a quick test drive and going over questions but most of the time was doing paperwork and waiting for paperwork. Everyone was super friendly and helpful but that part of the process really needs to be improved. I was paying cash so thee were no loan documents to deal with. I can't imaging how long it would take if there was a loan involved. More
They worked late in the day for me because I couldn't be in until after work, gave me more than kbb estimated for my trade in, got me what I consider a great rate for my credit, payment well under my top an in until after work, gave me more than kbb estimated for my trade in, got me what I consider a great rate for my credit, payment well under my top and that's with the gap and extended warranty, whole process took about 3.5 hours. My left rear tail light stopped working. I tried to schedule a repair/replacement using the 800 #. I tried at least seven times, but my phone was not answered. Within 7 minutes, Steven Russo, Assistant Service Manager, scheduled a repair time. The fix was simple, but the repair was scheduled for 2 hours due to repair backlog. The fix was completed within Steven’s estimate. Steven’s management of my light replacement was A-1. Next time, I will drive directly to the Service Managers desk. More
