One of the best car buying experiences we’ve ever had. The GM and the salesperson were very thorough and fair. We love the car. The GM and the salesperson were very thorough and fair. We love the car. More

Maria was helpful during the buying process but lacks communications skills, personality and knowledge. We first visited location on March 26, we looked at the vehicle, but weren’t able to test drive it communications skills, personality and knowledge. We first visited location on March 26, we looked at the vehicle, but weren’t able to test drive it since it hadn’t gone through inspection. We agreed to do the refundable deposit while the car was inspected and worked on. I reached out on March 30th since she said it would only be a few days for the car to be inspected and we hadn’t heard from Maria. The car was inspected after the call, and we heard back on the April 1st with the things that would be repaired. I reached out on the 4th since Maria hadn’t reached out, again she said they were still waiting on parts, the next day she said the car was ready, so I drove there but the car was not ready and still had pending tire repairs and bumper, wasted my time (mind you we live an hour away) when I asked her when they would have it done she had no answer, I had to be a little pushy and ask her to find out since she didn’t seem to care when it would be completed and I felt like she didn’t care about being respectful of our time. The car was “ready” on the 9th, we didn’t have a chance to make it in until 4/11, yet again the car was not ready, I’m not sure what type of inspections they run on their vehicles, but it isn’t a very great one (lights out missing bolts). Finance guy (Cleghorn) sat in his office for 45 min without anyone letting us know that their systems were down, and he just seemed bothered to have to help us. I’d beware after you sign and drive away all that ends. They act like they will help but never do, Maria asked me to bring the vehicle in just to tell me that the car was sold “as is”, if that was the case why ask me to drive the car there for an hour if she knew there was going to be no resolution on their end. I hoped for a little more honesty and integrity from AutoNation but they got what they wanted. If you plan to visit this dealer, get everything in writing and then insist that a manager signs off on it. You will thank yourself later. More
Great service. I had my oil change done with Steven Russo. He was very friendly and got it done quickly. I definitely recommend this service department. I had my oil change done with Steven Russo. He was very friendly and got it done quickly. I definitely recommend this service department. More
Phil was amazing! His professionalism and knowledge of the car I purchased and all its features only reconfirmed that Subaru was right for me. He followed up weekly a His professionalism and knowledge of the car I purchased and all its features only reconfirmed that Subaru was right for me. He followed up weekly about updates on the car and when it would arrive, kept me up to speed in everything and I felt like I was in good hands. 5 stars for Phil. Unfortunately, their was one mistake the manager made (Not Phil). I was purchasing the car cash so there was no need to run my credit (as I am in the middle of a huge home repair loan). I reminded everyone of this several times throughout the process and had cashiers check in hand for exact amount. The manager said that there was no need to run a hard inquiry when purchasing car cash but ended up running it anyway. While I was still at the dealership I received a notice from my credit monitoring and was very upset. The manager came out and apologized after I brought it up as well as the Finance director and explained it was a mistake. Although I appreciate the apology, it was not proactive and only happened because I learned about the hard inquiry from my credit monitoring in the moment. The manager explained he noticed that my credit was run when ge pressed enter because of a new system and not to worry as I have excellent credit. I told him there was a reason I was purchasing cash and that every point deduction in this moment mattered. Although I got a great deal on my car, it will now cost my thousands on my other loan so I have to wait to build the points I lost because of the hard inquiry. I was even more upset that I had to bring this up and that it wasn’t brought up to me proactively when the manager realized a mistake had been made and that he had run my credit. Taking responsibility and being proactive is key . Again, Phil and the car are amazing. It was just this one part of it that was incredibly disappointing. More

It is because of the service manager, Steven Russo, that we are still getting our Subarus serviced at AutoNation. He is professional, knowledgeable, and helpful in so many ways. You all need to give him a we are still getting our Subarus serviced at AutoNation. He is professional, knowledgeable, and helpful in so many ways. You all need to give him a raise if you want him to stay. He's worth it. Customer service is important. Just to give you an idea of how important a service manager is, my husband and I come from Goodyear out to Scottsdale to get both of our Foresters serviced routinely. Why? Good and honest communication and help above and beyond. When I returned to Phoenix in 2001, I've tried four different Subaru dealerships to get our cars serviced. I would never take our cars there after my experience in the early 2000's. I'll tell you a true story. I used to get our Subaru Foresters serviced at Mark Miller Subaru in Salt Lake City when we lived there. In 2001 we moved back to Arizona. My Forester at the time (it turned) had some kind of computer problem and I couldn't get it out of first gear. Three dealerships in Phoenix tried helping me, charged me, and failed to fix the problem - three Subaru dealerships! I drove back to Salt Lake City in first gear back and returned to Mark Miller Subaru where I had originally purchased the vehicle. The service manager there said I was 6 months out of warranty, gave me a car to drive while I had stay in Salt Lake, they fixed my car, and told me to go home. They never even charged me. It was not until I finally found AutoNation that I felt I had found a quality shop. We almost left AutoNation at one point until Steven Russo showed up. Because of his honesty and sincerity we decided to stay with you guys. True story. Kind regards, Deborah Cleary More
