I recently purchased a used vehicle from AutoNation Ford in Katy, Texas. As the vehicle had literally just come in on trade it was the first time I was not able to take the vehicle home the same day I compl in Katy, Texas. As the vehicle had literally just come in on trade it was the first time I was not able to take the vehicle home the same day I completed the paperwork. The truck went through the dealerships multi-point inspection and had several cosmetic and functional parts replaced prior to being completed. After picking the truck up and driving it for several days I was installing some new suspension components and noticed a significant oil leak. I immediately informed my sales manager Mr. Lindsley. He put me in contact with the service manager Mr. Henry (apologies, I don't have his last name). I explained what I had discovered and he said he had reviewed the email and photos I had sent my sales manager. We discussed the options I had to have the issue evaluated and I determined it best to bring the truck back to his department for assessment. Upon arriving at the dealership, Mr. Henry met me at the service counter and reviewed my situation with one of the service advisors, Mr. Galvan. Mr. Galvan entered my concerns into the file for my issue. He told me that they would inspect the truck and that I should receive a call from him on the following Monday. As promised, the call came on Monday with an update on what the service technicians had discovered and also let me know that the repairs while substantial, would be covered under warranty. Mr. Galvan told me they anticipated having the truck completed by that Friday or at the latest on Saturday. Just as Mr. Galvan told me, I received a call on that Saturday stating the repairs had been completed and my truck was ready to be picked up. Unfortunately I was traveling and wasn't able to pick my truck up until the following Monday. Upon arriving to the dealership Mr. Galvan greeted me and retrieved my paperwork. He provided a thorough description of the work which had been completed and offered an apology for the inconvenience of the issue I had discovered with the truck. While I was disappointed that the vehicle I had purchased had such an issue, which after significant amount of research seems to be a systemic issue with the engine I had chosen for my truck. That is a Ford manufacturing issue which they seem to have addressed in more recent years of this engine. I want to close the review by saying, dealerships such as AutoNation Ford are the teams of people who are challenged to bridge the gaps that the manufacturing processes leave. These people aren't the ones who were in charge of creating or building the vehicles we drive. Often times that is forgotten in the heat of the moment when our vehicles have unforeseen issues. The team members I have encountered throughout my purchase through the repair of this issue have been nothing short of exceptional and attentive. Mr. Falquez, Mr. Lindsley, Mr. Henry, and Mr. Galvan, thank you for making this purchase a most pleasurable one, it is very much appreciated. More
Salesman/finance guy was very pushy on financing when I wanted to pay cash for the used vehicle. There were a few issues that had to get fixed by dealership before delivery with deadlines established. Deal wanted to pay cash for the used vehicle. After asking for updates I still fail to get a updates in a timely manner. After taking delivery of vehicle some issue still had failed be addressed. I had to take vehicle back and still had same issues with communication. All issues still have yet to be addressed. Also someone stole my new trailer hitch that I purchased right after delivery while vehicle was in service at dealer. More
