Had a good experience with Christopher Hopkins, front-sales rep., and Art Garza (the "Spark guy") on the end of the new car purchase. Chris even retrieved a garage remote clicker from my trade-in w front-sales rep., and Art Garza (the "Spark guy") on the end of the new car purchase. Chris even retrieved a garage remote clicker from my trade-in when I came to pick up some other items from my old car. Art gave me some important advice about utilizing new technologies with the 2022 auto. I did find the "back-and-forth" negotiating on the price to be somewhat irritating--either be upfront with discounts (I was already going along with an MSRP quote that was at least $700 higher than several other dealers in other parts of the country), or don't wave them in front of the buyer. If the sales rep. has to get approval from a manager anyway, why not arrange from the start for a meeting with all three of you to agree on the price from the get-go? It would save a lot of time and be a lot more transparent and respectful of the buyer's time and good will. Otherwise, I would have given this dealership five stars across the board. In the end, I got the car I wanted, and due to the scarcity of these affordable little gems (GM has announced it will stop manufacturing them in August), I was willing to play along with the jacked-up MSRP, and less than ideal interest rate.
