I showed up at Power Chevy at about 12:30pm today with my friend Don Perine. Was immediately greeted by Al Marshall where I explained that due to family matters I had a limited amount of time to review a veh friend Don Perine. Was immediately greeted by Al Marshall where I explained that due to family matters I had a limited amount of time to review a vehicle that I had found on the internet. Al showed me the vehicle and when I asked for him to have the appraisal done on my trade-in he explained to me that the manager who appraises the vehicles was busy and this could not be done for the next couple days. Further, he went on to explain that this vehicle would most likely sell prior to the end of the weekend. If I wanted more assistance I should drive back to the dealership over the next few days. I asked him if he would be willing to discuss the vehicle I was looking at and my appraisal over email knowing that I had only a limited amount of time. He said this wasn't possible as he has no email access. The internet advertised price of the vehicle was 23,900+ however the vehicle marked price on the windshield was 1000.00 more than the advertised price. When questioned about the difference, Al explained that although the internet price showed it at one price, the add-ons that were also included in the internet price were extra and increased the value of the vehicle so they were asking for 1000.00 more once I arrived at the dealship. I explained to him multiple times throughout our conversation that outside of the test drive that this was the vehicle that I am looking for. Al showed no true interest, no urgency, and no willingness to provide satisfactory service. I felt that I was bothering him. I will NOT go back to Power Chevy, and I will be sharing my experience with my friends and colleagues. More
