Scam Artists When we first bought at our car at the Cedar Hill location, we arrived about 30 minutes before closing. The MANAGER Clifton (can't read his last name When we first bought at our car at the Cedar Hill location, we arrived about 30 minutes before closing. The MANAGER Clifton (can't read his last name on our contract) tried to coerce us to leave by telling us all the documentation we needed. We came prepared, and already had all that with us. When we said, "we have that", he would come up with something else. He then told us to come back another day because he was the only one there, and he didn't make commission. We needed a car pretty bad, so that's the only reason we stayed. Only after my husband blatantly called him out on it, and told him that he had poor customer service, did his attitude change, and start acting helpful. Whenever you call in, the receptionist(s) seem like clueless teenagers: not knowledgeable about anything. It's like everyday is their first day of work where the don't know anything. They're very nice, but don't expect them to answer any of your questions. Not once were we late on a payment, or have to use that remote control thing. We had our account set up on automatic payments, and when we got down to the last 3 payments of our term, they canceled our recurring payments (without telling us!), then called to say our payment was late. The woman said we weren't allowed to make our final payments automatically, and that we could only make the payment over the phone. When my husband asked why, she just repeated herself, which clearly didn't answer the question. Then she said, "It's always been that way since I've been here". Still not answering the question. This particularly ticked me off. More
