I purchased a low mileage used Malibu in excellent condition. Paul Bauza and the Auffenberg dealership sold the car for a very fair price and the transaction was pretty painless. Between two visits, condition. Paul Bauza and the Auffenberg dealership sold the car for a very fair price and the transaction was pretty painless. Between two visits, a test drive and closing on the car I only spent a couple of hours on the entire process. Paul was very friendly. It was a good experience overall. More
Ted Acup was a great sales man and I was very pleased working with him. But I started to have a few problems with the car the first week after I bought it. There is a loud rattling in the muffler and the working with him. But I started to have a few problems with the car the first week after I bought it. There is a loud rattling in the muffler and then the check engine light came on. I took it to the service dept and they did fix the check engine light and told me they fixed the muffler problem. When I got home I still heard the loud muffler noise so I called back and they told me that I could bring it in and they would give me an estimate on fixing it. I think that's a little ridiculous that they wouldn't fix that before they put the car for sale, then they told me it had been fixed and they didn't fix it and they then told me that had to charge me for it. This experience has made me certin I would not purchase another vechile from them. More
We saw a low miles Mazda 6 advertised on the internet for an attractive price and headed over to take a look. We comparison shopped this with a new Hyundai Sonata and Kia Optima. The Mazda 6 won out in the an attractive price and headed over to take a look. We comparison shopped this with a new Hyundai Sonata and Kia Optima. The Mazda 6 won out in the end, but we felt much more confident with the purchase than if we hadn't driven some other cars first. Our sales associate was Carl Gray who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was patient and attentive throughout. The challenge is always in the price negotiation, but this went smoothly overall. We didn't haggle on the internet price which was actually below what kbb.com suggested it would be worth. Instead, we focused on the trade-in price on our car. I would have preferred to do this directly with the sales manager rather than have Carl walk 50 yards each way during an offer, but so be it. Their first offer was a huge low ball, but they took our counter immediately. It couldn't have been any easier. Financing took an inordinate amount of time, likely because it was near the end of the day and there were some sales piling up for the finance guy to process. He was a bit of a fast talker, to be honest. There was some glossing over of details that made me a little uncomfortable, but in the end we went with the lowest tier extended warranty on top of what was remaining on Mazda's coverage. The additional cost was nominal. The entire process took about four hours, but probably should have only taken 2.5. One of my biggest gripes is how long it takes to buy a car. It's a mental fatigue tactic, and one that should probably be done away with. We were going to buy the car in all likelihood and never once gave anyone any doubt about it. Having one finance guy for several dealerships is not a great business practice. Overall, Carl was terrific and the process was much better than expected. We found the prices and selection to be excellent. I would recommend checking them out if you're in the market. More
I bought a car & had $300 worth of repairs done within 30 days of purchase. Neither the salesman (Jason Hall) or the manager (Ron Cannon) would work with me. within 30 days of purchase. Neither the salesman (Jason Hall) or the manager (Ron Cannon) would work with me. More

Let’s see from the start... the salesman.... when I told him a price of what I would pay.. He says ok! But then once he starts filling out paperwork.. for me to sign.. He puts the sticker price for me to s him a price of what I would pay.. He says ok! But then once he starts filling out paperwork.. for me to sign.. He puts the sticker price for me to sign saying I would pay.. Then wants to argue on how much it will be even though I told him a price and he was ok with it. So besides trying to slide a price under me and hope I don’t catch it..He argued with me... yes that is a quality salesman there! Then there is the issue with the carpet in the van.. Yes they said they would have the carpet cleaned/stained... great! He made an apt. for us to come about 2 weeks later.. Guess who wasn’t there! Yes.. The salesman who made the apt.! The manager was a little upset about that too! Oh and let’s go on to the next thing.. I specifically state what bank I want to go through and only that bank! OK Sir! Not a problem once again.. So we get our loan through the bank I said. and get our van... come home and month down the road we (me and my wife) both get letters in the mail from a bank... not the one I requested to go through which I got the loan through.. Stating that I was denied for an auto loan! AMAZING!!! Please everyone go to Auffenberg PreOwned Center! You will love them, or maybe not! More
I waited 40 minutes or so after the dealership opened to be helped because all the employees were in a late-running meeting. The car I bought needed a brake pads, had worn rotors, and rust on one of the calipers' slider pins(which resulted in the pin breaking off in the caliper and necessitating a new caliper) requiring me to fork out around $1000 to remedy the brakes. I had to spend $700 for new tires AND $130 to get a new key fob. The salesman gave me several key fobs but none of them were programmable for my car. I was told this car had a full inspection. I was NOT expecting to have to pay for a brake job. The car definitely did not get a decent detailing service as there were spider scratches all over the car. Overall terrible experience. More

Out of all the auto purchases I have made in my life my experience with Auffenberg has been the best so far. All of the employees I worked with were pleasent, friendly, down to earth and straight forward. experience with Auffenberg has been the best so far. All of the employees I worked with were pleasent, friendly, down to earth and straight forward. I didn't feel as if I was beeing taken advantage of like some dealerships might make you feel. The time spent during the whole purchase experience was the quickest and easiest I have ever had with any auto purchase. I would most definately recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle and I look forward to making future purchases with Auffenberg as well. Job well done! Thank you for the great experience! More
