Bought a car from Paul at the Auffenberg dealership less than 2 years ago. Best experience I have had in quite some time. A professional and no haggle experience. Checked the car on-line. When i came in to purchase a new Kia Sorento, i traded in my 2010 Toyota Corolla. Upon trading in my old vehicle the car was taken with the plates on it. When i attempted to get insurance on the new vehicle my 2010 Toyota Corolla. Upon trading in my old vehicle the car was taken with the plates on it. When i attempted to get insurance on the new vehicle i was informed that New York law (which is the state plates i had on the toyota) required proof that the plates were destroyed or the plates needed to be sent in. 2 days after Auffenberg took my trade in i called to ask for my plates back and was informed that they had "no idea where my plates are". I was told that when my car was given to the detailers to get ready for auction that they had no idea where the plates went. I then had to go to the local police department to file a report in order to give to the DMV in new york. i then had to fly to new york and go to the DMV to turn in the paperwork in order to get stolen plate paper to give to my insurance company so they could cancel my policy. However it took a full month to get all of the paper work and reports together which at that time they were still charging me for insurance on a car i did not own. Because the dates on the paperwork were a month later i could not get refunded for the insurance charge and lost 150.00. When i called the dealership to get help from them i was told they could not do anything for me and when i eventually called and left a message for the sales manager twice they never returned my call. I love my car but the customer service and experience i had was horrible and i will NEVER reccommend this dealership. I am active duty military and i have alot of people around me that are looking to buy cars and i will purposely direct them to another Kia dealership. More

I could have went to any car dealer, looking for a used car that I could afford. I only picked Auffenberg, because it was close. I have had bad experiences with used car dealers in the past. I have always had A mis trust for used car dealers in the past.But I needed another car.I even thought that through the years the integrity of used car dealers might have changed.But to my disappointment it, in my opinion it had not. If not for Mr Haynes, and Dale, it could have been a disaster. I am sorry for such a bad review, but the integrity of used car dealers has to improve. More

Salesman was called and followed up with me several times in attempt to make sale. It was a bit annoying. Financing paperwork too long, too much time a dealership. Salesperson nor sale manager accepted my ca in attempt to make sale. It was a bit annoying. Financing paperwork too long, too much time a dealership. Salesperson nor sale manager accepted my calls or returned messages a day of two following the sale. Very dissapointing. I had to actually go to the dealership to resolve the matter. I will not purchase my next car from this dealership and I will not recommend any friends or family because of the after sale lack of response. More
I waited 4 Hours to find out the verbal Handshake agreement between my sales representative and myself was not going to be honored. There was a misunderstanding between sales representative and appr agreement between my sales representative and myself was not going to be honored. There was a misunderstanding between sales representative and approval Manager to number of months of loan. This was in writing and was perfectly clear between sales rep and myself. Problem was between Auffenberg employees. (not my problem). I should have been given the car at agreed upon price. Instead my 16 year old daughter that had posted her new car on facebook after they detailed and had it sitting outside for us to drive home was crushed. After I threatened a law suit, the next day I was contacted and a similar but not exact vehicle was offered to me at my agreed upon price. I took a half a day of vacation to go look at the vehicle they offered. They still would not sell the original Jeep for agreed price. I am sorry I accepted other Jeep because Air Conditioning is not working correctly after 2 weeks and they would not do anything to help. Whated to charge me $200 to fix it. Avoid this dealership at all cost. This was worst experience of my 42 year life. My original Sales person no longer works for the company and I suspect he left because of this experience. More
