At Audi of Smithtown, it is our mission to make every guest feel welcome and provide them with a 5-star experience and I am disappointed to hear that was not the case with your most recent service visit. It could seem strange that a tire could cause the multiple warnings you were receiving however, that is the most likely culprit in this case. One of the tires was mismatched and much newer than the other three and that has the potential to throw off the ABS where it thinks one tire is spinning at a different rate leading to the warning indicators coming on. Once the ABS/Traction Control warning is rectified, we can see if this clears up the warnings and continue to diagnose any other indicator that remains. I do hope that this clears up your concerns with this matter but please feel free to contact us at (631) 979-6400 at anytime at and ask to speak with our Service Manager if you have further questions. The response is like a bad joke, The tire is cause a headlight sensor malfunction, that's your theory, and you put that in writing, based on your years of automotive repair experience. BEWARE the thought of that guy touching your car with a wrench is terrifying!

The joke continues, buy a full set of tires every time you get a flat or all you electronics turn off? or perhaps I can sand down the replacement tire so it matches the other three? AGAIN BEWARE DONT LET THAT GUY NEAR YOUR CAR WITH TOOLS!

We want every interaction to leave a lasting and positive impression and we are disappointed to hear that this wasn't the case with your recent visit. One of the first things our advisors do upon arrival of a vehicle is conduct a walk around to see if there are any visible issues with the vehicle that need to be addressed. As you stated, Chris found a bubble in one of the tires during this walk around. As per Motor Vehicle Inspection Regulations, visible bumps, bulges or knots would lead to a failed inspection as they may indicate that the structural integrity of the tire has been compromises and is no longer safe to drive on. Instead of allowing the inspection to be run and come back as a failure, Chris was trying to avoid that by getting the tire replaced ahead of time. We don’t want our guests to pay for something they shouldn’t, so he was trying to locate any warranty you may have had that would cover the replacement tire. I do apologize if you felt rushed into a service you weren’t expected but I can assure you that was not his intentions. If you’d like to discuss your visit further, please do not hesitate to contact us at (631) 979-6400and ask to speak with our Service Manager. I do hope that you will give us another opportunity to restore your confidence in us and allow us to provide you with a 5-Star Audi of Smithtown experience.

Sadly that's not the process or order of events that happened, had it been less rushed & alot more transparent it would have been an absolute different outcome. I have no desire to talk to "mystery service manager" since a point of contact for the issue was not provided. At this point I will leave my review & encourage others to deal outside of your business. The opportunity was given several times for your leadership to step in however each opportunity was missed including this one. I am saddened that instead of realizing the issue was transparency & NOT the nys dmv facts of transportation safety. This is why I got my issue resolved immediately elsewhere - in addition I have no desire to remove my Google review I understand I am a top rated review & my reviews will always be at the top when folks search "audi of smithtown" you've earned that top spot & I'll ensure it sticks. I was not happy that someone randomly called me last week saying I need to take the review down & refused to state whom they were. Overall my experience with Audi Of Smithtown was bar none a 0 out of 10 sorry I had to give you 1 star.
