A professional approach with a personal touch I've leased many cars over the years on Long Island including domestic and imported models from both mainstream and luxury marques. For me, the exper I've leased many cars over the years on Long Island including domestic and imported models from both mainstream and luxury marques. For me, the experiences have varied from acceptable to outstanding. The outstanding experience? Audi of Smithtown. From my initial contact with Audi Brand Specialist Dennis O'Connor to a very pleasant experience with Business Manager Brian Miller and a warm handshake and greeting from General Manager Ray Brown my expectations were exceeded at every step. Honestly, Dennis didn't have to do much to sell me on the Audi brand or the S3 I leased (I'm a car nut who is very familiar with Audi's reputation for great engineering as well as the new S3's emerging status as the heir apparent to the late 90's S4 - a car who's performance and driving characteristics are regarded as legendary by the Audi cognoscenti), But he DID sell me on the dealership and the friendly and capable staff. His pride was obvious as he took me thru the state-of-the-art Service Reception area with a covered drive-thru and spotless service bays. And although I didn't take him up on the offer, he assured me you could 'eat off the floors in the service area'. Since a car with the color and options I wanted was not in stock, I placed a factory order. Never was there any pressure to 'take something on the lot '. Instead, Dennis worked with me to put together an order with exactly the options and colors I wanted. It took a little over 2 months for the car to be built and transported from Germany and Dennis was great at keeping me updated with status emails along the way. During one of my visits to the dealership, newly hired General Manager Ray Brown made it a point to come over and introduce himself. He thanked me for my business and seemed genuinely interested in knowing how the process was going. It was an unsolicited personal touch - the first of many I expect. Then there was the 'dreaded' meeting with the Business Manager - this always seems to be the most stressful part of buying a new car where the dealer tries to sell you extras you may or may not need, to increase the value of the sale for the dealership. Audi of Smithtown's Business Manager Brian Miller did not take that approach. He simply presented the menu of available extras (everything from pre-paid maintenance with AudiCare to window tinting) and asked which items I was interested in. Done. No pressure and very pleasant. No need to dread that meeting. I would recommend Audi Of Smithtown without reservation to anyone shopping for an Audi and expecting the best premium car buying experience, fair prices, a professional staff, a state-of-the-art facility (sales and service) and most importantly: a personal touch. Oh, and the S3? It's amazing - I probably should have gotten more than 12K miles per year on my lease. I think I'll be driving it more than I expected. More

Dennis quickly discovered that I knew exactly what I was looking for because he actually listened. We found a car within minutes and had a lease contract within the hour. Everything went smoothly and efficiently. I never felt pressured, and I truly felt that Dennis represented my wants and needs rather than his or the dealership's own agenda. He was my advocate and helped me get a better price through all possible avenues. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the experience. I am now enjoying my beautiful Audi and will certainly come back to Audi Smithtown for future car dealings. More

I have leased 12 Audi's over three decades from dealers around the country. I have never had a better experience than working with Audi of Smithtown. I actually live closer to other Audi dealers but travel to Smithtown to lease from Chris Guy and obtain service from Kevin Birmingham. These guys are top-notch. Knowledgeable, courteous, professional, trustworthy, responsive, fair. I wish all my dealings with service providers were like my experience with Audi of Smithtown, Chris Guy and Kevin Birmingham. When you arrive at the dealership, he has no problem rolling up his sleeves and checking out your car physically and he's very knowledgeable about every aspect of the car. He does his job well with a warm friendlineess that is genuine. I switched to Audi of Smiths town due to lack of communication and incompetence from my local Audi service department. I travel 1:30 mins from Brooklyn to Long Island because the service is outstanding. More

Well, right Off the Bat they came back In December 2014, I opened a "Unique Dialogue" with Mr. Merrow and Mr. Hutzler about purchasing a New Audi Q3. Well, right Off the Bat they came back with a "Purchase Price" that made it "Too Good To Pass Up"!! Well 1-week later Me and My Wife(buying the Q3 for her) came into the Dealership to "Close The Deal" and "Special Order Our Audi Q3 From Germany", with No Surprises, and No Charges for Special Order(who does that). During this Visit we met Mr. Hutzler(sales manager) and he introduced us to Dennis O'Connor(sales Associate), who took Us for a Test Drive in a Audi Q3, and He truly was "Exceptional In Product Knowledge" and his "Attention To Detail" was "Truly Exceptional"!! Meeting with Mr. Hutzler, Me and my Wife both came away with the Impression that here is a "Sales Manager" who has a "Exceptional Sales Team" that makes his Job Easy, and Makes the "Customer" feel that their "Expectations Have Been Exceeded In Every Way"!! On March 28th 2015(Sat), our Special Order Audi Q3 arrived and We Drove Away "Completely Satisfied"!! This is the "Third Audi We Have Owned", and this "Truly" was the "Best Dealership Experience Ever"!! Mr. Ron Merrow, should be "Proud Of His Staff"!! I will "Definitely Buy From Audi of Smithtown Again"!! I Remain.... Rick M. Cosentino More

I could open it from the outside but not from the inside. I dropped it there and they called me the next morning to say it was the door latch cable (inside the door panel) and it would cost $380.00 plus tax to fix it. I declined the service as I thought that was an outrageous price for a cable. I brought the car to my mechanic. He ordered the cable for about $30. I am so happy I did not let Audi fix the car. I know they say the car is in better hands there, but to charge $300 for labor alone makes me sick. I don't know how these dealerships get away with this. More
