After another terrible Audi dealer experience at Brookline Audi, where they told me they would include the change of the serpentine belt in with the 90k sefvice and some other work I was having done Brookline Audi, where they told me they would include the change of the serpentine belt in with the 90k sefvice and some other work I was having done, then after I brought my car in and they did the work denied they had told me so, I swore I'd never go back to another Audi dealership for anything. Then my car began making sounds and losing power that had me fearing a blown turbo. My normal mechanic (Stadium Auto, they're awesome and trustworthy!) woudln't touch it since they aren't specialists, so I had to go to a dealer. Based on the reviews on this site, I chose Clair and boy am I glad I did! They identified the problem as three blown vaccum lines ($10 parts, about $250 in labor, which seems about right), they did the work right away while I waited, and at my request examined the suspension, idenifying some inexpensive things they could fix (and did), as well as a longer list of specific proplems I woudl want to have addressed at some point. Mike, the service maanger, gave me a detailed list of the work they felt needed to be done, and a list of Audi parts, in case I wanted to have the work done somewhere else. The car came back cleaned inside and out. I have a new service place to go to now, I highly recommend Clair! More
Just purchased a 2007 A6 from John Suh. A true professional - very knowledgeable, never pushy. Communicated lots of information by email, which saved a lot of time and phonecalls. The negotiation professional - very knowledgeable, never pushy. Communicated lots of information by email, which saved a lot of time and phonecalls. The negotiation was short and sweet - their first offer for the new car and my trade was fair so it didn't take long to agree. Two days later, car is ready with no fuss. It's my second purchase from Clair, my first from John, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both. More

I purchased an Audi from Clair. I didn't know that much about the product, I liked the way the Q7 looked. my sales person help me with the test drive and knew a lot about the car. So, I just took my 2001 S4 Avant in for 60k maintenance. After my last expierience there (which was very good), I figured now is when I would start to be gouged because I am no longer under Audi covered ser After my last expierience there (which was very good), I figured now is when I would start to be gouged because I am no longer under Audi covered service...

However, everything went off without a hitch. The price they told me BEFORE they did any service, was exactly the price that I ended up paying. No "surprises", no beating around the bush.

Once again the car was ready on time, washed and vaccuumed. Considering I dropped it off very dirty on the outside, and messy on the inside, I was very happy to get it back in better condition. My only complaint is that while yes they did do me a favor and wash the car, they did it on a day with freezing temps, which meant that all of my doors and windows were frozen when I went to pick it up. Small price to pay, I guess.

Jeff, the service guy that I dealt with was very friendly. He called me as soon as they took the car in to verify what needed to be done (I had dropped it off the night before). We talked about having a 4-wheel alignment done since I was complaining of a slight drift to the right. He told me that Audi would be more than happy to spend my money, but in reality, the even wear on the tires (coupled with low tire pressure) indicates that there is probably no alignment problem, and recommended that I not do it in order to save myself the cost. Bravo. More
Brought my 2001 Audi S4 Avant in for its scheduled 50k maintenance. Since this service was covered by Audi and free of charge, I also had them look at several smaller issues (horn was hard to engage at t maintenance. Since this service was covered by Audi and free of charge, I also had them look at several smaller issues (horn was hard to engage at times, odd sound from blower fan, install LATCH system for our carseat). I dropped the car off the night before and received a phone call from Bill in service around 12:30 the next day. Everything was done, and they had even cleaned the fuel system in order to remove carbon deposits which were causing a slight shudder during engine idle. I picked up the car around 5:30 and everything was in fine order. They had vacuumed and cleaned the interior for me, and all of the servicing that they had done was thuroughly explained to me.

All-in-all I was quite happy with the experience. My only trepedations are that this was a scheduled maintence that is covered by Audi, so the real question is how is their service when I have to pay out of pocket. I'll post and update at my next scheduled service, but I haven't fully decided if I'll use them, or a local mechanic that I have used with my previous cars. More
