I am not the type of person to go online to vent about something, but I have had only problems with this dealership. Not only are they a complete rip off, but hey must be crazy thinking they can get away something, but I have had only problems with this dealership. Not only are they a complete rip off, but hey must be crazy thinking they can get away charging the prices they do for service and repairs. I have an 05 Audi A4 and have been in their service department 3 times in the past month and multiple times before this. The car they sold me has been a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. I had my car towed here most recently for an oil sludge problem, and they quoted me $2300 in repairs, parts and labor which is ridiculous. They were very nice when they assumed I would be having the work done on their facilities, but became rude and very short with me when I told them I would like to check around for other estimates. It was extremely unprofessional for them (Hue) to act this way, and I ended up getting the work done for 1/3 of the price at an Audi/VW shop in Costa Mesa and the car is running great now. I will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE! More
I contacted Commonwealth via the internet regarding a 2007 A4 quattro. I test drove the car on two different days, first by myself and the second with my wife. The initial experience at the dealership 2007 A4 quattro. I test drove the car on two different days, first by myself and the second with my wife. The initial experience at the dealership was fine. After the second test drive, we negotiated a price via the internet. At this point, I spoke with the salesperson by phone regarding my intention to buy the car at the agreed upon price. I also asked him to have a technician check out an odd engine noise, and to let me know the results. The following afternoon I received a voice message from a different salesperson telling me that the car checked out, was ready, and that I should come in when I could. But when I called early the next day, I was told that the car was sold the night before. When I asked why I wasn't called and at least given the opportunity to respond, he told me the dealership couldn't keep the car forever. I tried to reach the salesperson I initially worked with, but he never responded. To be sure I had not signed a contract securing the car, but feel the ethical bankrupt business model this dealership has in place simply reinforces the old used car stereotypes. More
We walked into the lot and it took us walking out of it 15 minutes later and back in for someone to come help us. We found a great car. Price was great. Our sales guy George was great. It came time to "mak 15 minutes later and back in for someone to come help us. We found a great car. Price was great. Our sales guy George was great. It came time to "make the deal". My friend who was looking to get the car had gotten approval from Navy Federal Credit Union, the biggest military bank. We're both in the military. However, for some stupid reason, they wanted to run her credit again "just in case Navy Fed couldn't back up the funds". Are you kidding me? It was like a slap in the face. They've had identity fraud apparently. They told us they had to take precautionary measure in case our military ID's were fake. It's the most stupid company policy. Go ahead and run additional credit checks on people who use personal checks, or cashiers checks, but a check from THE BANK?! STUPID. Oh yeah, and they lost my friend's car key and we were there like 4 hours! We drove all the way up from San Diego, which they knew. It was after 8pm and they were still they still wanted us to wait around for them to talk to the "finance guy" .. and then he had to talk to another guy and another guy. I recommend that NO service member, using a loan check from Navy Federal EVER go there, unless you aren't trying to protect your credit. George was nice, however, the rest of the visit SUCKED beyond belief. Lucky me, we had to drive 2 hours home, we hadn't had dinner since we were there 4 xxxx hours and I had to work at 6 this morning. I'm SO angry! My poor friend was almost in tears on the way home. Never again, are we going to go here. I'm going to deter ANYONE from EVER going there. More

I leased an Audi from Commonwealth for 3 years. There have been many changes in management and the service department. Therefore, if you have read negative feedback about this dealership you may want to have been many changes in management and the service department. Therefore, if you have read negative feedback about this dealership you may want to read more current reviews. Recently, I went to Audi to look at my options as I was at the end of the lease. It was a difficult situation because of some financial situations with my credit. I also just had a timely accident with my mailbox. The whole Commonwealth team worked together to give me an affordable package which took a 7+ hour effort to purchase my car. They absolutely exceeded my expectations. My boss was so impressed by the service that he went to the dealership and purchased a car from them the next day. He had been looking at a Mercedes from Fletcher Jones, but with my experience and the value difference of the quality of the cars chose the Audi A8. The Commonwealth dealership has a new GM who if you read his commitment statement believes in building business by treating customers great one by one and developing raving referrals. They are in process of building their new retail center across the street. If you are looking for an Audi, I would without reservations recommend Commonwealth Audi. More
There is something seriously wrong with Commonwealth Audi. Recently I took an Audi test drive and asked about purchasing. I got the Sales shuffle & witnessed a horible argument in Service between a cu Audi. Recently I took an Audi test drive and asked about purchasing. I got the Sales shuffle & witnessed a horible argument in Service between a customer and a Service agent. I smiled and told them thankyou very much. It seems that everyone at Commenwealth is very uptight and on the verge of anger...as I witnessed. It the car business really worth all of this tension? Anyone interested in purchasing an Audi should in my opinion, visit either a private party or another Audi dealer to test the waters before buying. More

Maybe this is a new commonwealth audi/volkswagon? I have received outstanding customer service and maintanance on my vehicle. I have received a FREE loaner car every time I have to leave my car longer than received outstanding customer service and maintanance on my vehicle. I have received a FREE loaner car every time I have to leave my car longer than a day, Try that with Mckenna Audi/Volks. The thing I liked most about an instance I had with them is when I took my car for service, 30,000 miles, I had to leave my car overnight. They called me the next day, I missed the call and didn't get around to hearing the message until a day later, however the rep told me not to worry because I wouldn't be charged extra for having the rental an extra day. That right there folks is excellent customer service and a place I will keep servicing and probably buy a new car from.. I have this was useful. P.S. I have an '06 Audi A4 More
I took my 2007 VW Passat (which I leased) here for service and they really treated me well! I had to get the 5k service according to my light, so I drove in and they set an appointment for the next da service and they really treated me well! I had to get the 5k service according to my light, so I drove in and they set an appointment for the next day! They also noticed that my Air Bag light was on and informed me that was a mandatory repair and it would be covered under the manufactures warranty. They even offered me a loaner car for a few days. How cool was that? Anyway, I was pleased with the service reps and they seemed busy, but took care of my car. I would definitely recommend them! More
