Awesome experience I drove over 7 hours to this dealership to purchase a vehicle and the drive was well worth it. Tom Clancy made this the best and most comfortable car I drove over 7 hours to this dealership to purchase a vehicle and the drive was well worth it. Tom Clancy made this the best and most comfortable car buying experience I've ever had. He was up front with all the details about the car and we didn't have to go back and forth a bunch of times to reach a price that was good for both parties. We had extra work done with the vehicle following the purchase and Tom ensured we were taken care of throughout the process even while working with other clients. I highly recommend this dealership! They are super nice when buying a car, right up until it is delivered and you have any kind of problem.. They are very rude all the way up to top management.. Wipers I am absolutely disgusted!!! I bought a brand new 2017 Audi A-3 Quattro a couple of months ago. The rainy season has hit Florida and I found out that I am absolutely disgusted!!! I bought a brand new 2017 Audi A-3 Quattro a couple of months ago. The rainy season has hit Florida and I found out that my wipers were defective the first time I used them. I called the dealership hoping to get them replaced for free under my warranty and was told it would cost me "$65". Now I could understand if this was a used car, but honestly I'm shocked. It's a factory defect!!! More
Q7 a great car with a few issues My wife bought her Q5 at the old location, and has been happy; and I decided I wanted a new Q7. I was unable to buy one previously as I couldn't get into the driver's seat (long story and personal medical problems) but I had read the new Q7 sat lower, so as my wife's car needed service, I tagged along and looked at the new Q7's. Who doesn't like an Audi? I ended up purchasing a Q7 Prestige with the Adaptive Chassis. I really like the virtual cockpit, the top view camera system (I am lousy at parking), the heads up display (just cool), the ventilated front seats, and the active lane assist (Not getting younger and appreciate all the tech that can give me an edge). If I have gripes (three), the first is when you want one item you have to buy a full upgrade package just for that one item; and second, the lack of storage. I traded in a 2015 top of the line Sienna, and I miss all the storage. In the Q7 the one glove compartment barely accommodates the manuals, and the storage in the middle console would hold a small pack of gum. And third, the Audi connect went from T-Mobile to AT&T with the subscription price doubling. I opted for the Adaptive Chassis as it does give you a great turning radius which is very useful in FL with the number of U-turns you end up doing. And the all-wheel steering really holds the road firmly underneath you. And you can control the ride to adjust for road conditions. Surprising useful given all the roadwork here in the Sunshine state. I am still getting used to the electronic shift and have to go back to get some additional help in understanding all the tech that comes with the model purchased. There is a number of newer staff at this dealership and not everyone knows the car(s), warranty information, or other details they should know. However, the young lady who handles all the paperwork signing you do just before picking up the car knows everything as is very efficiently organized. I did purchase the extended warranty package and would urge everyone to do so because these cars are basically computers on wheels, and if one of the boards ever gets a problem then you will be looking at thousands in parts and don't forget the high cost of labor. I like Audi's and while these cars can sell themselves, I would hope members of the sales team remember they are still working with customers (potential or actual) and no matter how good the product, being arrogant in dealing with people is not a selling point. I found my salesman polite and helpful (I have his personal phone number in my contact list on my phone so he needs to be careful) and would use him again. Why no names? With the way social media is being used, I wouldn't want to bring grief to anyone by posting their real names anymore. This is my second Audi with this dealership, so I am comfortable in recommending them; but remember, they do want to sell you a car. I will update as I settle in to the Q7 and find more of what I like, or don't. I mentioned I might have to return for some tech help regarding the Q7, and did. One thing for sure, that round control knob in the middle of your center console is the real key to getting a lot out of the MMI. Not only does that knob turn, but for many of the applications it will need to have you shift if forward or backward; and also to shift it to the right or left. But Peter (I will use his first name) knows all the tech having grown up with it. He was able to answer my questions, some "silly," some more serious, and show me how to do a couple of things. You can adjust how high you want the trunk to go. Useful here in FL because in some of these garages, the trunk bumps up against the garage door when you're unloading groceries. And no, unless you live in two specific cities, the street light reader will not work. When you are driving on the highway you will possibly find, as I have, adaptive cruise control is not worth the effort. Also, I urge you to ask just what "pre sense" features your model comes with. There are several levels and don't just guess which one are included on your specific car. Make a check list of just what you want your car to do; don't drive away to be disappointed later. Then there is the MMI iPhone app. Currently my wife's Q5 is listed; but when I try to add a vehicle (mine), the app just refuses. The answer I received on how to add my Q7 was to delete the app. Then just add my car. That really doesn't solve the problem. Happy tech to you. Storage still sucks. More
