I have been shopping for a new Audi and was quite pleased with the treatment that I recieved at IRA Audi. George Maria was professional and great to deal with. He made me feel at ease about the process wit with the treatment that I recieved at IRA Audi. George Maria was professional and great to deal with. He made me feel at ease about the process with no pressure. George was very candid out the vehicle I was interested in and did not try to "oversell" me. I have purchased my last three cars at IRA Toyota and have had the same experience. I would not think twice about recommending IRA to anyone. More

I purchased a pre-owned car from this dealership. I was hesitant to buy pre-owned, as I had never done so in the past. I dealt with the General Sales Manager, Bruce Slovin, who not only made me feel comfo hesitant to buy pre-owned, as I had never done so in the past. I dealt with the General Sales Manager, Bruce Slovin, who not only made me feel comfortable about this purchase, but still follows through to this day to make sure I am satisfied with the car and the service I receive at Ira Audi. I would strongly recommend this dealership for purchasing a new or pre-owned car. More
My wife and I have used this dealership for over twelve years with eight cars. They have always been honest, helpful and professional. They have gone out of their way when there have been mechanical proble years with eight cars. They have always been honest, helpful and professional. They have gone out of their way when there have been mechanical problems and have gone to bat with Audi several time for us. George is one of the most polite easy going people I know. He previous life in eduction makes him especially effective in our understanding new technologies. Service gets things right the first time. When one of my kids was having a problem with another Audi dealership, they got the straight sccop from Ira. We'll keep going back. More

I have bought 2 Audi S4's from Ira Audi in Danvers, MA over the past 6 years, and I will NEVER buy another car from them. EVER! Why? Well, I got into an accident about 6 months ago (in my 05 S4) and the s over the past 6 years, and I will NEVER buy another car from them. EVER! Why? Well, I got into an accident about 6 months ago (in my 05 S4) and the service department fixed my car (no problems yet). In the process they informed me that my after market rims (the ones that had been on the car for the previous 2 years, the rims that they installed on my winter tires) were going to require longer lug nuts. They said that the nuts that were currently on the car were too short. I asked the service manager what I should do, and he said that they were going to order new nuts. No problem. Now it is 6 months later and I recently got a flat tire. I noticed that the tires were toed out pretty severly and in the process of changing the tire (which took almost 45 minutes to get off) I realized that 2 out of the 5 bolts were stripped and 2 out of the 5 holes that receive the botls were completely stripped. This is why the tire took 45 minutes to get off of the hub. So, I called the dealer and had the car towed there. After about a week they finally called me and told me that it was my fault and that I would have to pay for the repair. So let me get this straight. I have to pay for the repair of the hub, rim, and tire that was ruined because one of their techs jammed the nuts in with an air gun and stripped the bolts, or because they didn't align the car after I was in my accident (which was front end damage, and they specifically noted in their service that they realigned the front end) which caused the tires to toe out and put stress on the bolts that they installed. Instead that said it was my fault that I put after market rims on the winter tires. The ones, bt the way, THAT THEY INSTALLED IN THE FIRST PLACE. Also, if the blame is to be placed on my head, why didn;t they tell me 6 months ago tht I shouldn't be running these tires and rims on myu car. Nothing was mentoined to that effect. All that was said was that I needed new bolts. Ugh. So after arguing this point with the service manager he said there was nothing they could do and I was going to have to pay the 2k to get the car fixed. So, if you want terrible service, and a team that installs and fixes your car to such a poor quality, that when it fails, they blame it on you......then IRA Audi is your dealership. More
I agree with the previous poster that the service department is condescending. Trying to rent a car proved to be futile while the Ira rental people fawned over the Lexus customers. That is abo department is condescending. Trying to rent a car proved to be futile while the Ira rental people fawned over the Lexus customers. That is about the most positive thing I can say about the Ira experience. Why does this site require that we give a dealer a rating of at least one? Zero would be more appropriate. More

Assumptions of competence and service have since been proven absurdly false. The following is a summary of what amounts to the most frustrating experience I have ever had with an automobile “repair”.<br><br>26 April - dropped the car off on 27 April, the evening before the appointed day. <br>27 April - car was not looked at on the appointed day …”very hectic…other cars…”<br>28 April – diagnosed as sensor, part not in stock <br>29 April – have to call to get status at end of day…”very delicate procedure…need to be careful of magnet inside ”<br>2May – no call. I call later in afternoon. “sensor didn’t fix it…need ring gear… must order…two days”<br>4 May – no call. I call later in afternoon. “ they (Parts Dept ?)didn’t tell us it was ordered from Texas…” hapless victim routine…<br>6 May – I call for status “they are having trouble getting the side-plate off the transmission…things are coming apart as they should…just a matter of time” and then later “we just got it together…I’m waiting for my Service Manager to test drive it…will call you back”…two hrs later…”sorry for bad news…that didn’t fix it…need to order an instrument cluster….need a copy of your drivers license and a credit card….high theft item….we want to deliver you a rental car” I comply with the request for license and credit card.<br>11 May – get a call from dealership. “the car is done, and will deliver the car, BUT, we need to re-code your other keys, so you will have to come down. I offer to be there by 4:30, but they can’t promise to do the re-coding procedure in the ½ -hr I can afford. <br>12 May – I leave work early to be at the dealership in time for them to perform the re-coding. Finally, I have the keys and get into my car. I had driven no more than 3-mile when the speedometer started fluctuating. It was not fixed. Infuriated, I went back to the dealership and vented at the Service Manager. I am not an angry or violent person – not even close to type-A – but the level of frustration they invite is staggering. The Service Manager asked to have the car back to “make it right”. I refused. I have no confidence that: 1) they are capable of fixing it and 2) I would not be frustrated by them any further. Detailing the car and delivering it to my home were supposed to be compensation for otherwise shoddy service<br><br>Finally, the speaker still buzzes and the cosmetic detailing they promised was not done. (In fact, there are grease smears on the armrests and the instrument cluster) And the rental car received on 6 May arrived with a glove compartment full of used tissues. Yes, that is disgusting.<br><br>I write this, as a matter of therapy as much as anything since there is no way I would return to Ira Porsche/Audi. It would be in your interest, however, to conduct a thorough audit of their service department. They are not performing to the premium standards the Audi marque represents. Perhaps help from Audi America would serve to raise their service and professionalism to an acceptable level. <br><br>In the mean time, I will try the dealership in Dover, NH, and sincerely hope that they can resolve these seemingly minor issues in a timely and professional manner. <br> More
