I called Schaumburg Audi and asked them if they will match the price. Initially they told me they can not do it and then they started to call me and telling me that i was lying and no dealer can give this price. After a day, they told me the will price match the other dealer quote. But when I walked in the dealership to complete the deal, they did not had matched the price. I wanted to do business with Schaumburg Audi, as they were closer. I ended up doing to a different Audi dealership More
My wife and I are currently shopping for a new car and I came across this site. We had an Audi we purchased new from Schaumburg Audi and, I must say, it was the worst ownership experience we have ever had. Routine servicing always led to a mechanical issue that "needed attention". These in turn would involve sometimes thousands of dallars in repairs that were all covered under warranty. Of course, this was very inconvenient for us as the car was in for seemingly unnecessary service about three days/month. I talked with other owners at that dealership and they had all had the same problem with the service dept. Owners from other dealers had not. I talked to Tony Papparo, the Service Manager, while in the dealer for repairs and he called me a "liar" right there in the showroom, and made a crack at my ethnicity. Later in the same week he left a message with my service demanding that I call him back immediately. I complied and he told me that the purpose of his call was to tell that I would not be allowed to come back to the dealer for service or new car sales. I followed up with Audi North America and they said all the dealers are franchises, and therefore they have no leverage (I have found out since then that the call center I spoke to is possibly in the upstairs of this dealership). This was all very confusing at the time, and we have since then filed suit against this dealer. I'm sorry, but I could never recommend this dealer. This was an awful experience for my wife and me, and we are both truly amazed that the dealership is still open for business. More
These guys should be selling used Yugos, not new Audis. Well, the internet manager, Steve Iverson, keeps trying to get me to come in. Refuses to give me a price. When I got fed up and told them that they were misleading in their pariticpation in this online quote service, this is the email this guy sent me: "Name calling....that is a new one. How old are you again? Instead of a Brochure would you like a coloring book and a Big Bird DVD? I have already played your insulting phone message and showed your Email to the manager...and we do not want your business. Any more emails will be considered harassment and handled accordingly." Oh, by the way, my name calling was calling them "typical car dealer scum". It must be okay to get my name, phone number, home address and email address under false pretenses but when I complain, it is harrassment. I complained to Brian Hall, the General Manager and he just blew me off. No wonder these guys get such a low rating from everyone. More
I feel like I would be doing everyone a favor by NOT recommending this dealership to anyone. I owned an Audi that was constantly in this shop and had several of the same problems reoccur after the car recommending this dealership to anyone. I owned an Audi that was constantly in this shop and had several of the same problems reoccur after the car was in for service. I would take the car in for service and "surprise" I would take the car home and there would be two more things wrong with it immediatly. They also tried to bend me over on a couple of expensive bills that were covered under warrantee. I owned the car for 3 years and it was absolutly the worst experience. I finally upgraded to a more relaible car (Acura) and have had no more headaches!!! More
Hello sirs, I recently purchased an Audi A6 3.0L 2002 Hello sirs, I recently purchased an Audi A6 3.0L 2002 from another dealer. Just for my safety, I wanted to have a diagnostic done at Audi Schaumburg. Prior to this I also ordered a spare key so when I get my car back from testing also I will get my key programmed. After the diagnostic ($200) and another $200 for finding the defective module, backup sensor (2 hours labor) and erroneous brake diagnosis, I was told the breaks are under the minimum safety limit and a button from the radio is missing! This was an obvious lay because I had my breaks checked at a brake specialist later on. I was playing wit the radio one day before and also my wife looked at it prior to the “diagnostic” and nothing was missing. When I looked carefully at the radio, after the “diagnostic” I noticed small scratches around other two buttons as if somebody tried to pool them out with a tool (pliers). Of course I was told that it can’t be fixed and I have to replace the whole radio! This is not the first time very questionable diagnoses and weird repairs that happen in this place! I have to tell you, this is not the only car I serviced in this place. I had similar experiences with an older Audi A6 (1979) that I serviced here. MY ADVICE IS: DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE NOT EVAN FOR A LIGHT BULB CAHNGE!!! Regards, Tony Chirulescu 665 Audubon Str. Schaumburg, IL More

This is the worst dealer I have ever worked with. Have finally switched to the Audi dealership in Lisle and they have been great. you'd never guess they were part of the same dealer organization! I understand from the local VW dealer that Schaumburg Audi is in financial trouble and that they are desperate because the local Audi management offices occupy this dealership's upstairs area. More
Had a deal finalized on an A4 which was on the lot at Schaumburg Audi. Worked with John L. for over 2 hours to hammer out the details including a trade in. After finalizing the details, I returned home t Schaumburg Audi. Worked with John L. for over 2 hours to hammer out the details including a trade in. After finalizing the details, I returned home to pick up my son and made then go back to the dealership with my wife after she got off of work. John phoned me and asked what time I was coming in to buy the car. Told him 5:00 and he said the car will be inside and prepped. Arriving, he showed us our new car and proceeded to tell us it's SOLD?? He then offers me a similar model that was not the "special edition" for over $ 4,000 more. He saw me eyeballing the car earlier in the day and though I would bite.
I asked him how we could've negotiated for 2 hours about a sold car and he offered no explanation, no apology. My wife was humiliated, my 10-year-old son confused and I walked.
I am buying the same car for 1400 less at Napelton in Loves Park, IL.
I made that deal over the phone will driving home
More
I brought my 2001 Audi TT in for service one day and for whatever reason the service shop was closed and no one but sales reps and cahiers where there. They told me that the service department wasn't open whatever reason the service shop was closed and no one but sales reps and cahiers where there. They told me that the service department wasn't open even though it was a weekday and they had scheduled me for that time and date that i was in there. I then made another appointment to bring my car back in and when i came in the next time they said that i wasn't even in the computer for an appointment. After arguing with them for about 20 minutes i finally gotthem to give me a loaner because i wasn't coming back again to drop the car off for a third time. It was overall the worst service i had ever received from a dealership in my life. I would never recommend doing business with them whether it's for service or sales. More
Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership. John L., the salesman we dealt with, was rude, condescending and completely unprofessional. He went out of his way to mock us and laugh a dealership. John L., the salesman we dealt with, was rude, condescending and completely unprofessional. He went out of his way to mock us and laugh at us because he thought the offer we made on his car was too low. Then the sales manager came over and tried (not very hard) to smooth things over. When I said “I don’t get the impression that you really want to sell this car” the sales mgr. said “ok” and walked away. Thank god we got out of there without spending any money. A couple weeks later I bought a car from McGrath Audi and recommend them highly. There are seven Audi dealers in the Chicago area. You’re better off buying from any one of the others instead of Schaumburg. I’ve done business with McGrath and Continental and both are excellent. More
