I feel like I would be doing everyone a favor by NOT recommending this dealership to anyone. I owned an Audi that was constantly in this shop and had several of the same problems reoccur after the car recommending this dealership to anyone. I owned an Audi that was constantly in this shop and had several of the same problems reoccur after the car was in for service. I would take the car in for service and "surprise" I would take the car home and there would be two more things wrong with it immediatly. They also tried to bend me over on a couple of expensive bills that were covered under warrantee. I owned the car for 3 years and it was absolutly the worst experience. I finally upgraded to a more relaible car (Acura) and have had no more headaches!!! More

Just for my safety, I wanted to have a diagnostic done at Audi Schaumburg. Prior to this I also ordered a spare key so when I get my car back from testing also I will get my key programmed. After the diagnostic ($200) and another $200 for finding the defective module, backup sensor (2 hours labor) and erroneous brake diagnosis, I was told the breaks are under the minimum safety limit and a button from the radio is missing! This was an obvious lay because I had my breaks checked at a brake specialist later on. I was playing wit the radio one day before and also my wife looked at it prior to the “diagnostic” and nothing was missing. When I looked carefully at the radio, after the “diagnostic” I noticed small scratches around other two buttons as if somebody tried to pool them out with a tool (pliers). Of course I was told that it can’t be fixed and I have to replace the whole radio! This is not the first time very questionable diagnoses and weird repairs that happen in this place! I have to tell you, this is not the only car I serviced in this place. I had similar experiences with an older Audi A6 (1979) that I serviced here. MY ADVICE IS: DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE NOT EVAN FOR A LIGHT BULB CAHNGE!!! Regards, Tony Chirulescu 665 Audubon Str. Schaumburg, IL More
dealership fails in three ways. 1. Availability of dealership fails in three ways. 1. Availability of promised loaner cars requires weeks of advance notice. 2. Staff has little or no information or h dealership fails in three ways. 1. Availability of promised loaner cars requires weeks of advance notice. 2. Staff has little or no information or help with advanced electronic features. They simply do not have answers. 3. Getting problems fixed requires more than one visit. This is the worst dealer I have ever worked with. Service items were routinely not performed, or even worse, when they were performed they broke something else requiring me to come back again and hav Service items were routinely not performed, or even worse, when they were performed they broke something else requiring me to come back again and have fix that problem. Have finally switched to the Audi dealership in Lisle and they have been great. you'd never guess they were part of the same dealer organization! I understand from the local VW dealer that Schaumburg Audi is in financial trouble and that they are desperate because the local Audi management offices occupy this dealership's upstairs area. More
Had a deal finalized on an A4 which was on the lot at Schaumburg Audi. Worked with John L. for over 2 hours to hammer out the details including a trade in. After finalizing the details, I returned home t Schaumburg Audi. Worked with John L. for over 2 hours to hammer out the details including a trade in. After finalizing the details, I returned home to pick up my son and made then go back to the dealership with my wife after she got off of work. John phoned me and asked what time I was coming in to buy the car. Told him 5:00 and he said the car will be inside and prepped. Arriving, he showed us our new car and proceeded to tell us it's SOLD?? He then offers me a similar model that was not the "special edition" for over $ 4,000 more. He saw me eyeballing the car earlier in the day and though I would bite.
I asked him how we could've negotiated for 2 hours about a sold car and he offered no explanation, no apology. My wife was humiliated, my 10-year-old son confused and I walked.
I am buying the same car for 1400 less at Napelton in Loves Park, IL.
I made that deal over the phone will driving home
More
I brought my 2001 Audi TT in for service one day and for whatever reason the service shop was closed and no one but sales reps and cahiers where there. They told me that the service department wasn't open whatever reason the service shop was closed and no one but sales reps and cahiers where there. They told me that the service department wasn't open even though it was a weekday and they had scheduled me for that time and date that i was in there. I then made another appointment to bring my car back in and when i came in the next time they said that i wasn't even in the computer for an appointment. After arguing with them for about 20 minutes i finally gotthem to give me a loaner because i wasn't coming back again to drop the car off for a third time. It was overall the worst service i had ever received from a dealership in my life. I would never recommend doing business with them whether it's for service or sales. More
Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership. John L., the salesman we dealt with, was rude, condescending and completely unprofessional. He went out of his way to mock us and laugh a dealership. John L., the salesman we dealt with, was rude, condescending and completely unprofessional. He went out of his way to mock us and laugh at us because he thought the offer we made on his car was too low. Then the sales manager came over and tried (not very hard) to smooth things over. When I said “I don’t get the impression that you really want to sell this car” the sales mgr. said “ok” and walked away. Thank god we got out of there without spending any money. A couple weeks later I bought a car from McGrath Audi and recommend them highly. There are seven Audi dealers in the Chicago area. You’re better off buying from any one of the others instead of Schaumburg. I’ve done business with McGrath and Continental and both are excellent. More
Purchased a new A6 in '99 here and had them perform most of included servicing until I couldn't stand it any longer. Everytime the car was in for routine or recall servicing, they would break something else of included servicing until I couldn't stand it any longer. Everytime the car was in for routine or recall servicing, they would break something else that then needed repair. Seven incidents totalling $3,152 worth of (fortunately) covered extra repairs. Mirror adjustment knowb, cruise control vacuum booster and master and slave cylinders, new guauge set (twice), wheels (see below), rehang driver's door twice (don;t know who hangs on the door at the shop), reset the service lights (they always forgot to do it), various engine parts, repaint front end. Oh, and did I mention the "test drive" with Tony the Service Manager in which he managed to drive through a culvert at 35 mph and bent three rims? With me in the car!!! Maybe they're better now, but we'll continue to shop elsewhere in the future. More
