Never before did I ever believe I would be interested in an Audi. By chance I was near the facility and I stopped in. Walking in the door we were immediatly greeted by Jim Coveliers. At this point, I shopped many dealerships, worked with many sale reps, but no one, I mean no one came close to Jim. Jim had an incredible knowledge/background of Audi brand, but also the same cars within its class (to provide a comparison). As a potential new customer, Jim paid close attention to our needs as a family, so that when we took a test drive not only did he fully explain the cars top to bottom, but also how it would benefit our family. I might add that the consecutive times we went to Audi, he always either asked about my wife or my daughter (my daughter loved him), which further showed his genuine personality. That is great and all, but what about making the deal, the price? Well, we were NEVER pressured into buying and Jim provided us with his contact info should we ever want to ask questions, take a loaner, or come in for another test drive. When talking about the price, simply put, he worked with us... and got us an incredible deal. A deal where I was confident we were getting a very fair price and I know Audi was still hitting a favorable proft margin, so no problem there. This was a very big purchase for me and one that I waited many years to make a move on. I can say from all my extensive research I noticed that alot of the cars were the same, dealers were the same, service was the same....give or take, it all seemed the same. The differentiator was clearly Jim Coveliers. He represented the difference, the proverbial "cherry on top". What a great overall experience, so great in fact, we already referred many others to Jim. Necko Civic is has been outstanding! I purchased a new 2010 A5 last March. I dreaded purchasing a new car in the past... that was before my experience with Necko at Schaumburg Audi. I bought a European Delivery S4 from Schaumburg Audi, and it was S4 damaged in shipment to Chicago. Schaumburg Audi and Audi of America replaced the damaged S4 with a new one, at no cost to me. Most impressed that we did not have to deal with the business manager for the closing. Necko had all the paperwork done, efficiently and simplely. I can't speak enough about that! We had another appointment that evening and Necko made sure that we were able to close the deal and get out the door in time. We hated to rush, but were so impressed that he took consideration and made it work. What a pleasant experience for once! This was the total opposite of the experience we had several years ago with this dealer. We walked through the door and spent quite a bit of time in the showroom, but not one sales person approached us. We were basically snubbed for reasons that we could not understand. Upon leaving, we vowed never to return. What brought us back to the dealership was a close friend. It was probably one of the best car purchasing experiences that we have ever had.
