Bad experience. I was already pre approved with my bank, went in to look at a car I saw and loved online. Test drive was nice and easy and told them I wanted to go f I was already pre approved with my bank, went in to look at a car I saw and loved online. Test drive was nice and easy and told them I wanted to go forward and start the buying process. I went already pre approved with my bank but was told that I still needed to fill out an application there because they needed to “merge” the applications. they ran my credit again-even though I had said I was told I didn’t need to do. I told my sales guy Desmon I got an email saying they ran my credit again even though he said it was not going to be ran. I made a mistake not paying more attention to things I was signing but I am a first time buyer and was being explained each page as I was signing. I now know they were lying as they explained each document and My mistake for not reading everything on the page. After this, they come back and tell me I’m not being approved with my bank after all -which I know now was not true-and now my only option is their bank with a crazy high interest rate. I needed to leave that day with a car and figured I can refinance later but as I’m contemplating all this I come to financing and Daniel tells me I’m approved after all with my bank and this lower rate again but only if I add the warranty. I specifically asked him if my bank will not approve my loan without this warranty and he told me no, this is my only option or I have to go with their with the higher interest rate. I should have called my loan officer at this point but I trusted that I was being told the truth, and I see now that that was my mistake. The next day as I’m thinking more about it, I called my bank to see if maybe they were telling me the truth to which my bank says no. I text my sales guy I have now lost confidence in the dealership and want to reach out to see if we can discuss. The finance manager Daniel calls me back disregarding my disappointment and completely ignoring that I am asking him why he lied. He says that information can change whenever. I realize I am not getting anywhere with him and message the salesman again my concerns for being lied to. To which I’m told the General Manager is going to give me a call the next day- conveniently after the cool down period is over. I am left with an extremely bad experience which made me want to return the car altogether which really stinks because I love the car. Overall, I was a first time buyer trusting them to be the professionals and will not recommend them to anyone. Learned my lesson. More
