Tamir helped us find the exact model and color of A4 we wanted. It was a lightly used (4 month old) car that had just come on the lot and still needed to go through its certification and cleanup before it was ready to be taken home. He worked with the service team and got us a loaner (at zero cost) for the couple of days before we could take the car home. Within a week we noticed that there was a very slow leak in one of the tire. The found a nail, removed it and patched the hole for us. Over all excellent service, with great attitudes all around. I went in to sign a loan for a car after receiving a phone message that I was ready to sign for 3 yr term that I asked for. As I signed, Dominique, the finance guy, told me it is 5 yr term. I told him phone message that I was ready to sign for 3 yr term that I asked for. As I signed, Dominique, the finance guy, told me it is 5 yr term. I told him that I am not here for 5 yr term then he said I just need to make larger payment to pay off faster cause there is no difference. He seemed like it was no big deal. I was upset not only because they tried to screw me up but also his mentality that there was no problem, just like it was a routine procedure for him. Since I told him that the 3 yr term and 5 yr term are not the same and no one ever informed me that it had been changed to 5 yr term, he told me that I was rude. As I decided to cancel the process and leave, he told me, "I am a nice guy". So I turned around and said, "you think so". He was arrogant and condescending. I noticed that as soon as I walked into his office to sign the paper, his attitude and the tone of voice was a bit different than when he greeted me at the lobby. So I complained to Lucas, assistant sales manager about Dominique, then he said that it was a miscommunication between me and the salesman who left a voicemail about the 3 yr term. It was clearly a deceit that they tried and did not work on me. No wonder the salesman, Brad, who left the voicemail about the 3 yr term hurried and took off as soon as he saw me at the store. No one ever bother to call Brad to find about the 3 yr term or tried to listen to the voicemail that I had store in my cell. This is how they run their business. The next day Eric, the manager, called me several times and left a message that they will give me the term that I wanted plus lower the rate by 4%. I never called back. I am not giving these type of people my business. The one star is even too much for them. More
All, Please be warned: If you own an Audi and the car All, Please be warned: If you own an Audi and the car is financed by Audi Financial the dealer will automatically know the amount you pay per mont All, Please be warned: If you own an Audi and the car is financed by Audi Financial the dealer will automatically know the amount you pay per month, your interest, and the total amount owed. They will leverage this information unethically to offer you LOW LOW LOW trade offer. If you go to other brand auto dealers they will call them and the same thing will happen. Do not finance with Audi Financial. Do not go to Barrier AUDI. I was offered $33K for $48 MSRP 2013 Car. They are selling used 2009 for $39K but offered me $33K for 2013. That's just darn silly. I think these people are racist, condescending, unethical and are certainly breaking the law by illegally using banking information to strengthen their trading position. Be Careful AMERICA - This is another form of theft by Audi dealers. More
He is a very rude person and has no manner to deal with customers. I do not know how he could be a manager. It has represented the Barrier Audi sales quality. I do not recommend anyone to deal with this gu customers. I do not know how he could be a manager. It has represented the Barrier Audi sales quality. I own a 2012 Audi A6 Premium Plus MSRP $50K I was told it is worth $35K Uses VIN Information and illegally extracts payoff amount via Audi REP to enhance their negotiation position and to low ball on trade is worth $35K Uses VIN Information and illegally extracts payoff amount via Audi REP to enhance their negotiation position and to low ball on trade. This is a common practice for Audi Dealers in Seattle. Per the Sales rep that Audi's loose value very fast compared to BMW or other cars, he wrote it out why the car is wroth 35K in a huge full of crap e-mail devaluing my car while trying to sell me Audi A6 2012 model. It has been the worse Audi experience, and i would say Audi is a good car but he as horrible sales people behind the brand. Contact Audi corporate and file a complain and it it's illegal to use consumers private banking information to position your trade offers, It violates anti-competitive laws, ftc, bbb, and other protections for consumers. Do not go there if you own a AUDI, I am sorry! I like Audi hate their dealers. fire these people. More
"A Promise to do more from Barrier Motors." "A Promise to do more from Barrier Motors." I can say that this has been the worst experience at attempting to purchase a vehicle that I have ever "A Promise to do more from Barrier Motors." I can say that this has been the worst experience at attempting to purchase a vehicle that I have ever had. After finding the vehicle online with an unlisted price I began the arduous process of contacting the dealership for information. This is when I initially spoke with "Vince," this exchange was productive enough and I had explain that this purchase would be bit odd as I am currently deployed to Afghanistan and if the sale went through would be using a power of attorney to purchase the vehicle. After passing the information along to my point of contact back in the states, further phone calls brought Laurel James into the conversation with my POC. After some drawn out talks the final price for the vehicle settled at $25,600 and the vehicle would be picked up that weekend. When asked if a deposit was needed both sales personnel claimed it was not. Then the issues began, there arose this fabrication that Audi/Barrier was concerned about sending a vehicle overseas. Despite the best efforts to explain to them that this vehicle was going to a member of the U.S. Army who was stationed in Germany though currently deployed to Afghanistan, they continued to push back on the sale. By no means can the dealer/sales/manufacturer put stipulations on the use of the vehicle had it not been for the mention that I was a service member stationed overseas there never would have been any knowledge of this. To compound this issue, I was then informed that the price on the vehicle despite numerous emails detailing the price and what was or was not included at that rate had now risen to $26,900. Looking for clarification on the issue, I called the dealership hoping to speak with Brook Thomas, reaching his secretary I was informed he could not take the call. Stressing to her that I was calling from Afghanistan and had limited means to make contact and a 12 hour time difference currently put it at 2am, she relayed the message and informed me that he was busy and would call back when available. Again stressing that he would be unable to call me back as I was in Afghanistan I received the same response. An email was then drafted to Brook imploring him to at least clarify any issues so that we could proceed with the purchase of the vehicle. After no response my point of contact in the states called again and was informed that the vehicle had sold anyways and there was nothing further. When the point of contact had another individual call Barrier informed them that while the vehicle was not yet completely sold they had a buyer for it, this just further serving as a way in which I was mislead. To say the least, I am thoroughly displeased with my attempt to by a vehicle from Barrier Audi, I am not sure what their actions were based on. If it was due to my status as a member of the Armed Services or not, but I will not direct any of my soldiers to the dealership in the future let alone recommend them to anyone else. So yes Barrier you have managed to succeed in "doing more," but in this case it was to drive away potential customers. More
$1000 to replace a $52 A-8 thermostat. $130 per hour labor took 6.5 hours. Ridiculous. I am done with them. The service department's explanation was that it required removal of the front end of the ca labor took 6.5 hours. Ridiculous. I am done with them. The service department's explanation was that it required removal of the front end of the car . This makes no sense. If this is what is requiree then shame on Audi. If not, shame on barrier and their rates for mechanics are ridiculous. I have bought 6 cars from Barrier but never again. More
One of the most dissapointing car buying experiences I have had in 20 years. Had an issue with the paperwork which was done incorrectly by the finance person Julie Turner. She did nothing but dodge phon have had in 20 years. Had an issue with the paperwork which was done incorrectly by the finance person Julie Turner. She did nothing but dodge phone calls, emails, and pass the buck. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU PATRONIZE THIS DEALERSHIP, LIFE IS TOO SHORT FOR THIS. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE THE 5 HOURS ON 5 DIFFERENT TRIPS TO THE DMV I WAS ABLE TO MAKE SOME GOOD FRIENDS AND I CAN NOW RESERVE A CAMPING SPOT IN THE DMV LOBBY ANYTIME I WANT! More
In April 2009 I leased a brand new 2009 Audi A4 from Barrier Audi in Bellevue, Washington. Overall, I’d say that Barrier Motors are considered to be a reputable dealership. Their tag line is “A Promise Barrier Audi in Bellevue, Washington. Overall, I’d say that Barrier Motors are considered to be a reputable dealership. Their tag line is “A Promise To Do More”. And I’d say it certainly felt like that during my car buying experience. So when a couple of days later I noticed paintwork defects all over my brand new car, I wasn’t worried. I knew that any reputable dealer would handle situation professionally and either resolve the issues or replace the car. And since Barrier Motors “promise to do more”, I was even more confident that I’d be happy camper in no time at all. It hasn’t quite turned out that way. It’s now been 56 days since I purchased the car and while the dealership has shown a lot of willingness to get my issue resolved – they haven’t done that yet. And as I’ve looked back through all the countless emails, phone calls and visits that I’ve made to the dealership, it has started to feel like a comedy. So I thought it was time to chronicle my experience with Barrier Audi and share that with the rest of the world. I have one simple goal – I’d like to get what I paid for (and am still paying for). A brand new Audi A4 without any defects. If it can’t be fixed, then it should be replaced with a car of equal or better quality. Barrier Motors – isn’t it time you kept your “promise to do more”? http://mybarrieraudiexperience.wordpress.com/ More
Barrier does not stand behind it's own Warranty--when my engine blew up after less than a year on a Barrier Certified car, they refused to help even though there was a Technical Service Bulletin about engin engine blew up after less than a year on a Barrier Certified car, they refused to help even though there was a Technical Service Bulletin about engine oil sludge buildup on the 1.8T, which is what eventually made my engine blow. My car was in the shop at Barrier a total of 52 days in one year and as it turns out, Barrier did not follow Audi USA Technical service bulletin when they sold me the car--they should have put synthetic oil in it BEFORE I ever bought it, and it never would have continued with it's sludge problem.
