My Audi A3 Cabriolet was called in for a recall. The sensor in the passenger seat needed to be replaced. I was notified of this recall in January 2022, and it took until May 2023 to be resolved. Per the dealer, this length of time was due to the lack of replacement parts. I can understand that but 1 1/4 years? I tried contacting the service manager. I called and left messages on two different occasions. The service manager never called me back. This issue appears to have been resolved after I contacted Audi's USA Headquarters. I have one other observation. The service reps. They all appear to work hard, and are friendly enough. However, they never seem to ever look at you. They are so focused on their computer screens that they almost seem unaware of your being there. As for the day of this recall service, all went well. The car was taken in quickly and efficiently, and the service rep kept me informed of the repair progress, and the car was ready to go all fixed and clean at the time I requested. More
