After making the sale/contract & taking the vehicle home, they contacted me the following day saying they needed more info.& also had to leave an employee go. It's not a customer's fault what an employee had they contacted me the following day saying they needed more info.& also had to leave an employee go. It's not a customer's fault what an employee had done or not done. Despite repeatedly obtaining & giving the documents w. the info.requested, being told their bank approved the sale, as well as having the vehicle at our house nearly two weeks at that point; I was then contacted by a sales manager requesting us to bring the vehicle back anyhow and told something still wasn't right with them having exactly what was needed. We returned the car that day... More
Dishonest/Misleading Drove 2 hours to look at (and intended to purchase) a used vehicle. Got there, to learn that they added a $500 fee that was not mentioned anywhere in Drove 2 hours to look at (and intended to purchase) a used vehicle. Got there, to learn that they added a $500 fee that was not mentioned anywhere in the add...so out of the gate, $500 more than advertised price. I was able to negotiate down a bit...but was till > advertised price. Rediculous...don’t waste your time...I just wasted about 5 hours of mine. Lesson learned. THey truly earn the ratings they get. Careless and Negligent We bought a used vehicle from them that they did not disclose to us that it had been in an accident with right side impact. Every advertisement, sales We bought a used vehicle from them that they did not disclose to us that it had been in an accident with right side impact. Every advertisement, sales associate and the auto check stated that this vehicle had been in no accidents. We only found out because our financial institution ran their own vehicle check. This was upsetting but we were willing to let it be since we already bought the vehicle. However, 5 DAYS after we bought the vehicle we can’t get the car to turn on. Then 2 days after that the car won’t turn on, and we discover the linkage in the transfer case is broken. I called the dealership and spoke to both Mike from sales and Rich who does financing and they told me to take the vehicle to a Jeep dealership to get it repaired as the repair will be covered by the warranty that came with the vehicle and that Asheboro Ford would cover the deductible amount. It’s an unfortunate situation but they did offer to pay for the deductible which was very much appreciated. BUT THEN, we find out that Rich incorrectly filed the warranty and put it under a vehicle we didn’t even buy. So our warranty was essentially invalid. I call them and they tell me they are going to fix it. Well our vehicle was fixed and the warranty still hadn’t been corrected. The next day Rich tells me that the warranty has been fixed and that he has contacted the repairing dealership to let them know. I then get a call from the repairing dealership that this repair isn’t covered by my warranty, despite being explicitly told by multiple members of Asheboro Ford that it was. So I call Asheboro Ford to talk to Rich and he said he was going to figure it out for us. He even called our service manager at the other dealership and assured him that this was going to be taken care of “one way or another”. The next day, the day we told Rich we were going to go pick up our vehicle, I called Asheboro Ford to get an update and Rich is conveniently out of the office and our car hasn’t been paid for. I call and speak to a manger, Chris, and he said he would find out some more information for me. I called several times after that and Chris was never available. We showed up in person and a manger wouldn’t even speak to us. We were reassured by Amy that we would be getting a call regarding the situation the next day. We did not. I have called every couple days since then and every time I call I am told they are “working on it” and that they will call back with an update. They never do. It has been 3 weeks since our last correspondence with the dealership and no manager will return our calls. We were told by the dealership that this vehicle had been thoroughly inspected- it clearly wasn’t. We were told by the dealership that this vehicle had not been in an accident- it was. We were told we would have a warranty on the vehicle, but they carelessly mishandled the execution of the paperwork for it. They told me to take my car to the repair facility and that it would be covered - it wasn’t. They told us so many things that turned out to be blatant lies. I was originally going to write a 5 star review because we had such a great experience with the sales team the day we bought the car. But they are clearly an incompetent dealership who is negligent and misrepresents the vehicles that they sell. Buyers beware. More
Stay away from this place. They will lie to your face. "Don't worry, we will take care of it this afternoon and I will call you in the morning". He did not say from this place. They will lie to your face. "Don't worry, we will take care of it this afternoon and I will call you in the morning". He did not say what year as I still have not been called. Have a 2019 Explorer for 4 months and the drivers seat back leather trim is peeling. Service manager looked at it and said we did it, that it was punctures and not covered by warranty. We said we were not satisfied with that and He took pictures to send to Ford for warranty approval. After multiple calls and visits over the next three weeks, (they never called us) He was finally pressured into sending info to Ford. After He decided that they were punctures and relayed that false info to Ford they denied coverage. Now they say that they will pay to send the seat out to some backyard upholster to get it fixed stating that it would not be a Ford authorized repair. Do they think that I'm stupid and would void all rights to warranty coverage for the seat? They just won't do the right thing and replace the seat back. Talked to management the same day that warranty was denied and three management people looked at it and agreed that it was peeling and defective. Even stated that if it didn't hold up any better than that then there was a serious quality issue. Promised that they would get with factory rep that afternoon to take care of it and would call me the next morning. Still waiting on that call. Just another lie they told me. I have owned many, many Fords over the last 40 years but this dealership is the worst ever. Lie after lie after lie. Go somewhere else or maybe even another brand especially if ford corporate does not step in and correct this issue. Unless you are there to buy something the people are rude and ignore you. Read the reviews and you can believe them. More

My father is a big mustang fan and would be upset if I didn't at least look before I bought my Camaro. Needless to say the salesman brought me straight to a Mustang GT350 which was a nice car that he knew nothing about. I had to Google all my questions and correct the salesman about things he was straight lying about. Then he asked if I wanted to test drive and I said sure but I needed to know the cost of the car first. Throughout looking at the car I asked him 4 times how much the car was and he just kept brushing off the question. This was a 3 year old used model and I already had an idea what it was worth but couldn't get an answer from him about what they were asking. Then we go inside to get some information before the test drive and first thing in my face is a credit app. Keep in mind I have not driven the car yet. I told him I was not going to do a credit app that I am still deciding what car I even want. So far it hasn't impressed me over the Camaro and the salesman impressed me even less. His exact words to me were, "come back when you are ready to buy." And showed me the door without ever driving it. Not only will I be buying the Camaro but I will definitely spread the word that this dealership is useless. More
God Awful Aaron and this whole dealership is trash. The car I looked at online was black and I asked if there was any problems with the car as far as dents and scratches. "Nope, none at all come on down here and take a look before it's gone you can put a deposit down too". I get down there the next day to look at it and it's so faded. More swirls than an interracial couple. And there was a very noticeable dent on the passenger door. Worst place ever. Worst experience with any dealer ever. More

I’ll have the mechanic look at it” - this is NOT an acceptable response! This dealership has single handedly managed to completely turn me off from the Ford brand. Never again! If your absolutely only option is this dealership make sure you test drive their cars thoroughly! I do not recommend this dealership. More

To our surprise it was previously wrecked with unmatched paint all over vehicle!! I said I wanted my deposit back & they refuse! We also %100 said when I get there and this vehicle has paint work all over it & is not what you say it is Aaron, will I get my deposit back... his response is "dude it's not going to be a problem, don't worry!" Thanks a lot Aaron & Asheboro Ford.... for not only wasting a lot of my time & resources & money but for also discracing the Ford name! You should utterly be ashamed of the business you are trying to represent!! Also the vehicle was a 2013 GOTTA HAVE IT GREEN PREMIUM TRACK PACK ... btw which they are asking top dollar for! We were not unrealistic.... we assumed there may be a few paint chips... which there was & Aaron even lied about that!! Then after realizing it was wrecked Aaron says yes I noticed that 2 days ago... so why not say something 2 days ago??? And Aaron continued to have the nerve to say that it would not bother him as he still thinks we will pay top dollar for it!! Aaron you said as we were leaving this is not who you or the business you work for is... apparently it is!! AARON, YOU & ASHEBORO ARE TRULY TERRIBLE! I DON'T NEED SOMEONE TO TELL ME THEY GET THE MOST SALES BC THEY ARE HONEST ... HOW ABOUT YOU SHOW ME! SOMEONE WHO HAS TO TELL PPL THEY ARE HONEST (AARON) ... WELL LETS BE REAL , YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO TRY TO CONVINCE PPL OF THIS!! More
