Alberto kept us well informed on fitting our heated seats and confirming that the location of the on/off switches would be exactly where we wanted them. He also kept digging for a clear plastic rear bumber protector that we had requested and found exactly what we were looking for. We would rate the experience we got from Alberto and the rest of the staff at Ardmore Toyota to be among the best, if not the best car purchasing experiencer we have ever had. I'm writing a 5 star review on Ardmore Toyota specifically for the sales team. We purchased a pre-owned vehicle from here a couple weeks ago and probably had the best experience with a sales pers specifically for the sales team. We purchased a pre-owned vehicle from here a couple weeks ago and probably had the best experience with a sales person that we ever had regarding cars. Al Portela was very helpful, honest, and eager to help from start to finish. Whatever we needed to find out on the vehicle he was quick to look into and quick to get back to us. Just great experience over all. A couple years from now we will probably be working again with Al on the purchase of another vehicle. The only negative thing I would say about this dealership is the service center. But with that said it was very crowded and they agreed to take my car in for an oil change without scheduling, so I could not rate negative based on this only one situation. More
Beware of buying a used car from Ardmore Toyota. I was told all their used cars went thru their service department and were mechanically sound. The vehicle I bought had a bad transmission, which I realiz told all their used cars went thru their service department and were mechanically sound. The vehicle I bought had a bad transmission, which I realized something was wrong on the drive home, had a broken sway bar link, and a door that needs to be repaired so it will open and close properly. The transmission problem was a 2,000 dollar fix. Ardmore would not take the vehicle back or help me in any way. Now over a month later after getting a bad review from me on the internet they have given me a "courtesy" call. They still will not pay for the cost of the transmission repair. They had me sign a paper saying I was buying the car as is. So I guess their word that the vehicle was mechanically sound does not amount to anything. I would not recommend the car dealership to anyone More
