I was astounded in the time it took to make the vehicle purchase. I have never purchased a vehicle so quickly and without a hassle and mind you this is probably my 23rd vehicle. Great customer service. purchase. I have never purchased a vehicle so quickly and without a hassle and mind you this is probably my 23rd vehicle. Great customer service. More
Had my vehicle towed in on Nov 10, mentioned to them low oil indicator light came on and I parked it. Engine turns over, still drivable, however I felt the engine didn't sound right. Towed it to dealer for oil indicator light came on and I parked it. Engine turns over, still drivable, however I felt the engine didn't sound right. Towed it to dealer for fear of potentially ruining my engine and I wanted to take it somewhere I can trust the work will be done right, whatever my truck required. Also, I mentioned to Jesse the guy that checked me in, that time was of the essence because I require my vehicle to get back and forth to work as I am an ER nurse. I trusted them to get a diagnostic and get back with me promptly. My distrust and impatience grew after the weekend came and gone, not without me calling the day after I dropped my vehicle and Saturday, each day I was welcomed with long wait times and promises to get called back. I do have to say Adrian was helpful when I called back for the 3rd time or so on Saturday and stated he would leave Jesse a note and also gave me his number to call him back on Monday if I hadn't heard anything. I did finally hear from Jesse on Monday morning he mentioned the diagnostic and physical exam of the vehicle didn't indicate a thing, that the vehicle was fine and nothing was wrong with it. I asked about the noise or any codes he may have come up with, the impression was this call was intended to be brief and more sales directed, he mentioned it could be my lifters or my cam, or just sludge. I then inquired if it was more the oil pump or sensor as I am not mechanically ignorant. He stated no, that it could be as simple as sludge or your lifters are grinding on the cam. I did understand, but I have done so much research and didn't think this was the problem. However I still had some trust in them and hesitantly allowed Jesse's plan to do a "tear down", more investigative work, to figure out the problem but i was concerned with now my bill is racking up and it is more investigative versus solutions being fixed. My thought was I was 700 plus dollars in the hole and if it turned out to be cam and lifters that could run me another 1.5k on top of the 700 of course Jesse was all to eager to say "don't worry I will work with you". Days went by, again various calls made for updates, no call back, and long hold times. I started to replay conversations and piece my knowledge together and I felt like I was being nickel-and-dimed, I started to regret my decision to put all trust in the dealer. I kept thinking worse case scenario and started looking for a more economic, better quality and well lets face it any car can hold value better then dodge, so I spoke with a dealer about taking my truck and well I called that same day which was over a week later. I contacted Jesse to stop work because I would be trading the truck in. Jesse asked to call me back shortly to find out if the technician had started the tear down. I was aggravated to hear this because it has been now 2 days since I approved the so called tear down. Not to mention of course, when Jesse called me back he stated the technician was just about to start on it, go figure. I was highly displeased with the service department, I realize they are busy but they should more transparent and available to give updates. One time I had some women tell me he is still on a call with warranty can I have him call you back? Of course he never did call me back but I felt like warranty took priority over a "private payer". This is not to mention the whole check in debacle where some one took my keys from the tow truck driver and didn't check in my vehicle, when I showed up to service to find out about my vehicle no one knew where it was, no one heard of it. They just looked confused and continued to delve them selves in to whatever they were doing at that time. I stepped out various times to call my insurance for them to contact the tow truck driver. Maybe the 3rd time calling I called the tow company furious and got a parking space address and that it was dropped with one of the advisors in service. I came back in to service to relay the new info and to inquire again. I must have been on the lot about 45-1hr just trying to find my vehicle. The last time I went in is when I met Jesse, next to him was a pleasant gentlemen that indicated a few times that the caller "no speak a the English", his annoyance with the cultural language , maybe the culture it self was evident. Jesse at this point called out like a Peanut seller at a game, "anyone have the key to a 14 ram, red, dropped by a tow truck, it wasn't that easy at first until Jesse repeated again, then everyone amongst themselves chattered like fresh gossip in a junior high cafeteria, then there came Adrian around the desk fumbling in his pocket, "oh yeah I have that right here" as he presented it to Jesse. I went to pay for my so called diagnosis that didn't tell me anything at all and said my goodbye to my truck, it was a sad day for me because I love my truck, I blame service for my impulse to get rid of my truck and part ways with Chrysler, Ram, Dodge vehicles forever and I have had 4 Ram trucks in my life time.
