Salesman was nice enough but after two hours of looking, talking, driving, discussing price,it all came down to him having the "manager", come on over to tell me everything the salesman told us was xxxxxxxx and that he would not budge from the asking price. all of it was in vain. He would not budge from the price and also added on 1250 to line his pockets. I've seen dozens and dozens of reviews talk about this 1250 add on price plus the the manager is demeaning. More

HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP!!- unless you like abuse Anaheim Mitsubishi is THE WORST OPERATED and MOST DYSFUNCTIONAL dealership I have come into contact with. Let me explain my experience there a few da Anaheim Mitsubishi is THE WORST OPERATED and MOST DYSFUNCTIONAL dealership I have come into contact with. Let me explain my experience there a few days ago to justify this statement and point out the specifics and facts. I started my search for a vehicle, as many do, online comparing used cars and features on the many available sites(cars, truecar, carfax...) and ended up focused on the Scion FR-S for a daily commuter. I narrowed my choices down to 3-4 dealers with comparable options(year, mileage, condition) and focused on the one thing that would determine the final sale; price. I sent in an e-mail request to Anaheim Mitsubishi asking if there was any room for a price adjustment off their original internet offer since the vehicle was comparable to others available and the offer would have to be better to justify driving almost 90 minutes in traffic to get there. I received a generic e-mail response from their "internet sales rep" Carlos(the sales manager)basically saying NO they were not willing to reduce the price even $1 so I arranged test drives to see other vehicles at other dealerships. The next day I received another email from their internet sales rep Michael stating they are not "priced the lowest or the highest" but with a phone call, he convinced me that driving down would be worth my time and effort. I told Michael I didn't want to play the REGULAR DEALERSHIP GAMES of negotiating back and forth with him doing the regular "let me see what my manager will approve" as he walks away for 30 minutes. I arrived at 12:30pm, we test drove the car and I agreed on a price with Michael all within 45 minutes of my arrival. Great, I thought........I could wrap this up in under an hour and pick up my new(used) car tomorrow since I drove down alone and could not drive both back anyway. Everything was fine until I asked them for a printed purchase order and told them I had my own approved financing with a low rate and would bring them a check for the full amount the next morning when I could get a ride to the dealership in order to drive my new car home. As I sat there and waited for the printout, first their disgruntled finance rep Simon tried(repeatedly) to convince to finance online through them even though I said "NO" and I was told by my bank that they would provide me a hard check to give the dealership as soon as I could finalize the deal and show the bank a purchase order(the 3 foot long paper where you and the dealer agree to the price and terms). He told me that they get a small commission if they do it online but I insisted that my bank wanted it done with a hard check and I couldn't drive the car home anyway since I arrived in my own car. After this 30 minute argument of me saying NO and repeatedly requesting the purchase order so I could make it to the bank on time to get the cashiers check, the next round of outdated dealership tactics started with all three reps(Michael, Carlos, and Simon) gathering around me for 15 minutes in the sales booth and arguing with me about how my bank was wrong and how I had to do it their way. I disagreed. I finally got out of there 3 hours later with the final comment from Carlos the sales manager to me being "If you leave now, even with that purchase order, we can't guarantee that your car will be here tomorrow....we might sell it.!" I responded back with "If you really believe treating your customers like this(delaying, arguing, intimidating, and threatening) helps sell cars, then go ahead. I will buy from another dealer who would love to sell me a car." I finally left this horrible experience and drove to my bank to get a cashiers check for the full amount. The whole time I thought "Why would they treat customers like this if they want to sell cars?" especially since I had agreed on a price with their sales rep Michael(in 45 minutes) and I had the full right to get my own financing(as my bank repeatedly agreed with when I told them about my experience). I arrived back at the dealership again that night at 8pm just before closing to hand them a bank issued cashiers check(to show them how serious I was was when I agreed to buy the car) for the full amount and they still took over an hour to get it done. This was just an overall HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE by OUTDATED DEALERSHIP sales reps with the exception of Michael who understood that customer service and being straightforward is essential in selling a car. He should find a new dealership. IF YOU LIKE WASTING HALF YOUR DAY being talked down to, being subjected to the same old dealership tactics, and being treated as an inconvenience instead of an customer, then feel free to shop around at Anaheim Mitsubishi. And no, Rasool Rastgoo(general manager of the Anaheim Mitsubishi) or Carlos(the Sales Manager) I don't see how you are still in business. It is clear, by the many low ratings from prior individuals with similar experiences at your dealership, that customer service is not your priority or you would have fixed these issues a while ago. Many employees worked there for short time and leave ( no wonder why!!!!!) More

The car arrived damaged- the damage not being visible on the car at time of purchase or in the dealer photos posted on its website. The dealer and particularly the owner has refused to accept responsibility for the damage. Avoidance and failure to communicate/respond is their strategy. I strongly recommend AGAINST purchasing a used car from this dealer. More
