Alpine Buick GMC South - Service Center

I called on a friday for an appointment wednesday at 9:30am, I told the advisor that i wanted to wait for my truck, He said that was ok but expect to be there a couple of hours, I told him that was ok. 9:30am, I told the advisor that i wanted to wait for my truck, He said that was ok but expect to be there a couple of hours, I told him that was ok. When I turned my truck in I was told that I could not wait, that they would not look at it until late in the afternoon. Why lie to me when the appointment was made, just tell me the truth, I had other things planned for the afternoon, because of what I had been told (that I could wait,repair in a couple of hours). This is not the way to keep a customer happy with your service dept. I also told the advisor that I had planned on looking at a new truck,while waiting, He told I could spend my time anyway I wanted. His remark should have been--Sir let me get a salesman for you and then I will see what I can do to get your vehicle repaired--but I guess service personnel do not care about your sales dept. So I did not look at your new trucks and if I do look it will not be there..If service does not care about Sales then Sales does not care about service, and that is a leadership problem that will aways hurting the customer (ME)....
