The first time was just an oil change, which was supposed to take 45 minutes and it ended up taking 3 hours. Because of my poor experience, I was not charged for the oil change. I appreciated the service members in taking care of me like that. I was told that a mechanic had been fired or walked off the job and that was the reason for the delay. My latest episode was with the rear brakes on my Chevy Silverado. I brought it in a little over a month ago to have the rear brakes changed. The mechanics did this in a timely manner and everything seemed fine. Shortly after the service, my Service Break Light starting coming on intermittently. As time passed the light came on more frequently until it would come on and stay on from the time I started the truck to the time I shut off the engine. I made an appointment and brought the truck back to Allen Turner's service department to get it checked out. After the technician surveyed the truck they realized that the brake fluid level was extremely low, which is strange since I just had the brakes replaced a little over a month prior. One would think that the fluid would be topped off at the time brakes were serviced. Anyway the technician identified that the break drums were very rusted, which I knew this when I took the truck in to get the brakes replaced. I do not know why this was not mentioned then. So, I paid to get the drums replaced. When I picked the truck up and as I was driving out of the parking area I heard a loud rubbing noise coming from the rear wheels. So I immediately turned around and took it back to the service department. The technician that did the work had already left, so another tech came out and test drove the truck. He heard the noise also and immediately said that something was obviously wrong. This meant that I had to leave the truck again over night. When I called the next day, I was informed that they had to replace the wheel cylinders, which were rubbing on the new brake drums. Since I went through so much hassle they made good by not charging me for the cylinders, I picked the truck up and as I drove away the brakes seemed a little sluggish and they went almost all the way to the floor board. I thought this might be a temporary thing and I figured I would drive it a little and see if it would correct itself. Unfortunately it did not. I brought it back to the service department where I noticed that the right side drum was leaking brake fluid. A technician came out and looked at it and estimated that the wheel cylinder was defective. This meant that I had to leave it again. This was a Friday and I was told the parts had to be ordered and that it would not be ready until Monday. I was offered and given a loaner vehicle, which was very appreciated. At the end everything was satisfactorily repaired. One major note I would to make is that the service member Doyle was the person I dealt with on my last few visits,. He was very sincere and apologetic the entire time. He did everything in his control to make things right for me. I felt bad for him, because I could feel his embarrassment with the issues I was having. Mainly because of him, I will continue bringing my vehicles to Allen Turner for service. I also plan on buying a new vehicle from Allen Turner in the near future, At least I will give them the first opportunity to earn my purchasing business. Please do whatever you can to keep Doyle employed at your company His professionalism was remarkable and he offers outstanding customer service. Sincerely, Tom Bragg More

Megan came to me with a list of these repairs along with the price at which time I approved the repair. She thoroughly explained the repairs to be performed on my vehicle and gave me a timeframe of one hour. My truck was repaired and ready to go in 45 minutes. I appreciate her willingness and knowledge in answering my questions regarding these repairs. I would recommend Allen Turner Chevrolet to my friends and family. More

They WILL go the extra mile! So IF you ever experience a problem they will go out of their way to make it right for you. (Within reason, this is a business). The staff seems like So IF you ever experience a problem they will go out of their way to make it right for you. (Within reason, this is a business). The staff seems like it is always changing but theyre always super friendly and very polite. The professionalism is definitely there with the manager. Being in the waiting room and listening to a lady who was a little disgruntled about her vehicles repair. Turns out it was just a misunderstanding on the write up of her repair time. The staff gave her many options to accommodate her and all i can say when the manager spoke to her was, WOW. He went above and beyond to make it right for her by diligently aquiring her a loaner vehicle. Seems like the repair length was going to be longer than initially described. She left happy it seemed. Really great to hear managers actually care about the needs of their customers. Great job! More
AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP! LOTS OF PROBLEMS...STAY AWAY! After recieving a quote to fix the AC on our 2015 Suburban we were told that the problem was addressed in a GM special LOTS OF PROBLEMS...STAY AWAY! After recieving a quote to fix the AC on our 2015 Suburban we were told that the problem was addressed in a GM special coverage service bulliten (17336-02), but because we had 82k miles on the vehicle we would not be offered any financial assistance. This was in December of 2017. We saved our money and tried to schedule an appointment to have the work done in February of 2018, but the reps in the service department never called us back. We had to keep calling until someone would take care of us. This seemed to annoy them. When we drove an hour to the appointment we were told that there were additional steps required to perform the service that were not on the original quote and it would cost over $100 more. No explanation was given so we were left to assume it was just a sloppy and incomplete quote. They didn’t touch the vehicle until an hour after the scheduled appointment time and then after waiting several hours they said that they would need to keep it overnight. When my wife went to get her purse the guy working on the car was surprised and asked her what she was doing because he’d be done in less than 30 minutes. Obviously poor communication between the front office and the people working on the vehicles. During the several hours of waiting someone told my wife about the GM dealer empowerment bulliten that applies to vehicles with special coverages. She decided to ask if the service representative would use the policy evaluation tool to see if GM would offer any assistance on our AC repair. The representative didn’t have any idea what we were talking about. We eventually found someone who did run the policy evaluation tool and told us that GM was offering $300! GREAT NEWS! Except then the rep informed us that because of “bad blood” between us and the dealership they wouldn’t be offering us any of that money. They went on to give the normal speech about completing a 27 point inspection, but when asked what that consisted of nobody would tell us. I just don’t think this dealership likes getting asked questions. They also refused to tell us what “bad blood” meant, but when my upset and confused wife was leaving they were sure to tell her to give them “high scores” on the survey! I don’t think so. The worst part is that after the vehicle was taken home we looked at the new combination cooler that we just spent about $900 for and realized that the AC condenser shield assembly was NOT installed! This is step 4 in the service bulliten that THEY HANDED US! QUOTE- “Verify if an air conditioning condenser shield assembly is installed on the NEW air conditioning condenser...” Without this installed we are going to be right back here where we started when the AC goes out again! When we called the service department they said we would need to drive back to the dealer so they could see what we were talking about and verify that there was a problem. Absolutely ridiculous. Yeah, let’s take another 4-5 hours out of our day to let them keep working on our vehicle. This might have gotten caught if they showed us their work instead of just tossing us the keys and saying goodbye. We are done with this dealership and are warning all of our friends and family to stay away. They also left rags in my engine compartment and gave the vehicle back to me with all four tires under 30 psi. I guess these items are on their mystical “27 point inspection”, but who cares right? It’s not their vehicle... Finally, a previous employee of this dealership posted a horrible review on Yelp a few months ago warning potential customers of the “unethical stuff” that they do to include lying about performing inspections. It was so bad that she quit for moral reasons. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS More
