Incredibly courteous & respectful car buying experience Our experience was, without a doubt, our best ever. We began to correspond with Erica Kinney, following TrueCar.com's suggestion of Subaru of Wakefiel Our experience was, without a doubt, our best ever. We began to correspond with Erica Kinney, following TrueCar.com's suggestion of Subaru of Wakefield, as 1 of 3 local Subaru dealers. Erica was courteous and respectful of TrueCar's suggest starting point in our negotiation. We requested 3 add-ons to our purchase (our 3rd Subaru) and even before entering the dealership our mind was made up. We met Al Mazin @ 6:00 PM on a Thursday evening and we had a signed deal within 1 hour. Not one bit of nonsense. No 4-square sheet, no pressure to accept dealer financing, nothing; and we only went $5 over our projected budget. When we returned on Saturday AM to pick up our new Subaru XV Crosstrek, once again, Al was beyond respectful, kind and courteous. Without being pedantic or condescending, he cheerfully walked us through the payoff, a tour of the Service Dept., and a thorough tour of our new car. He even set up our iPhone to the car's Bluetooth, and I thought to myself, he even knows how to navigate various smartphones, like a teen. (I still keep a stash of carbon paper, just in case this "computer thing" doesn't work out.) To me, Al personified what a car salesperson should be. Without a doubt, he is second to none! (Mind you, without Erica, we'd never have made it to Al's desk. So, our thanks go out to Erica.) We would buy a car from Al & Subaru of Wakefield in a heartbeat. He has sold us on the Subaru of Wakefield brand. As Dawn is to dish detergent and Apple is to electronics, as Kleenex is to tissue and Rolex is to watches, Al is to car salesmen - second to none! More
