However, I must emphasize that this very satisfactory experience was due to Jason Matte, our sales person. For someone who was new at the time to the business, Jason presented himself right from the start as a very competent and knowledgeable person. He answered all our questions and when in doubt, checked with others to give us the appropriate information. Jason did this with a very pleasant and patient disposition. We have already recommended him to two of our friends interested in buying Subarus, and certainly stand behind our recommendation. Great "small dealership" feel Subaru of Wakefield is one of the largest Subaru dealerships in New England, but it feels like a small, homey place (I mean that in the most positive Subaru of Wakefield is one of the largest Subaru dealerships in New England, but it feels like a small, homey place (I mean that in the most positive way). It was a very friendly and personable buying experience. Larry was the associate we worked with and he was great. He walked us through everything and was not pushy at all - a great car buying experience. I would highly recommend Subaru of Wakefield; in fact the bank dealer who helped with our deposit check was looking for a new Subaru and I told her she would not be disappointed by going to Subaru of Wakefield. Jason is an extrovert, someone who is really trying to get you that perfect car. My whole family had been awaiting to get the Subaru Outback, but were not able to, and were utterly disappointed. However, Jason showed us an even greater option-an option that we couldn't think of. His friendliness is overflowing as the whole package of a family arrived, (daughter and all) but he was a serious dealership. All in all, Jason was not a cheap salesman, and if to get another car, even 5-10 years from now, we'll pick him. More

Poor Service I just bought a used car and it had a high speed shake in the steering wheel, indicating a tire balance problem. When serviced for this issue the deal I just bought a used car and it had a high speed shake in the steering wheel, indicating a tire balance problem. When serviced for this issue the dealership did NOT balance the tires but instead ground down the rotors and did an alignment. Why? They wouldn't say and they wouldn't give me a copy of the alignment numbers. When I got in the car after this service it still had the high speed shake in the steering wheel AND now, additionally, it pulls to the left, indicating that the alignment is off. I called and made a second appointment to have both issues resolved. The second time around they again would not show me the alignment numbers. They said they checked the tire pressure, balanced the tires and did an alignment. The car drives the same. Nothing solved. Both visits I had to ask for a receipt for the work done. When I asked to speak with a manager, they told me there was no manager on duty at the dealership on the weekend so they would have a manager give me a call on Monday. No call. I did email the service director and have not received a reply as yet. So thought since no one wants to talk to me I’d write this review. More

It was a very busy Saturday, but I was given every ounce of attention needed to walk me through the trade in and buying process. When it came time to pickup, Perry took me through all of my new car's features, Bluetooth set-up, and even posed for my first brand new car photo. I would recommend friends and family to Subaru of Wakefield - couldn't be happier! Looking forward to ski season with my new AWD Subie. More
