The purchasing experience was excellent then and has only gotten better. And as I have experienced over the total life and cost of owning a Subaru Outback, the service team is one of the primary reasons I came back to this dealership. Remember its 8 plus years of service and 232K miles in addition to the quality of the product. The sales team member was very engaged with me and always listening to what my needs were and what were my plans for purchasing a new Subaru. He worked hard with me to discover what was available in the portfolio of Subaru products that best met my needs. He supported me in solving the gaps of where I was with my older Subaru and what might be the best option going forward. Remember I wanted to be at 300k and in the next Subaru advertisement. Bottom-line he was very patient with my process and my questions. Ultimately we came to the conclusion that a new Premium Outback was my best fit. He was very active in the execution of the negotiation process and extremely knowledgeable in the delivery and transition of the new vehicle into my hands. More

Great Experience with one cloud. I went to Subaru of Wakefield to look at a used 09 Honda Fit. He didn't pressure me, and in fact even when one of the managers pressured me a bit, Mark reminded me that I could sleep on it. He was a trustworthy salesman (didn't think they existed - and that's coming from a former salesman). In the end, I got a great deal that I couldn't pass up. About 20 days later, my car started rattling. I knew that there was the lemon law warranty (not the technical term), so I brought it to the dealership. Christine from service was fantastic, she immediately mentioned how since the car was so new, all I'd have to do was pay the $100 deductible, and the rest would be covered. An hour later, I went back to the desk, and Christine had some unfortunate news. The compressor was busted; which wasn't a safety part, so wasn't actually covered. She apologized, and waived the $100 fee. Unfortunately it was going to be a $1,100 repair. Overall, it was a great experience, everyone did their job great. It was just unfortunate that something broke so soon after - I guess I should have brought it to my own mechanic to have him take a look ahead of time. More

The friend I brought with me on my search even said 'that was the most painless car buying experience I have ever seen' and he is right. Al knows his stuff - he has worked at this dealer for almost 20 years. Hes nice, funny and he doesn't lead you down a false path. My only complaint is that every car I have ever purchased couldnt have been from Al! More

This dealer came in significantly lower on the initial quote, and I worked with Teresa Evangelista via email to refine the quote. When I came in, Sydney VanDyck worked with me. He was very knowledgable about the car, started with the Internet quote I had gotten and then worked out a good price for an option I wanted to add. My last Subaru buying experience from another nearby dealer (in 2006) exemplified all the bad stereotypes about car buying, but my experience with Subaru of Wakefield was pleasant - no pressure, no games, no surprises. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend someone go to these folks! Even the conversation with the Finance Manager at the end (sorry I can't remember his name) was very nice - something I was dreading because of the high-pressure pitch I got for add-ons when met with the finance manager at the other dealer in 2006. I only wish I had gone to Subaru of Wakefiled 10 years ago! More
